A GREAT BROOM & DUSTPAN COMBINATION
Our home's kitchen, family room, dining room, powder room and hall way flooring is 19 inch Italian tile. There are numerous corners and nooks in these areas. The O-Cedar Power Corner Multi Surface Angle Broom with Dust Pan has proven to be a very useful tool for cleaning debris and dust on these surfaces. The texture and shape of the broom bristles makes sweeping easy and efficient. The handle length is nice and long which makes it easy to use. The shape of the broom bristles allows us to get a clean sweep in the corner areas and in the toe relief areas under the kitchen cabinets. The broom also works well on open areas. I liked the design of the dust pan. The dust pan has a soft plastic lip on the leading edge that makes it easy to sweep the dust and debris into the dust pan without leaving anything on the floor. For storage the dust pan can be snapped onto the broom handle. This is a very nice feature. The O-Cedar Power Corner Multi Surface Angle Broom with Dust Pan is an ecologist pride and joy. The manufacturer claims that the broom bristles are 100% made from recycled plastic bottles. The broom and dust pan are easily cleaned. Simply take the broom and dust pan outside and spray them with a water hose. Then shake the broom to remove most of the water, wipe the hard surfaces and handle with a cloth, let air dry and you are done. I fully recommend this great broom and dust pan. It works well. I received the O-Cedar Power Corner Multi Surface Angle Broom with Dust Pan at no cost for the purpose of evaluation and review.

Used!! Broom dirty and dust pan Bent
The broom arrived about 15 minutes ago, I opened it and it looked like it had been used. There was a clump of pet fur on it and other types of dirt and fiber. The dust pan is bent whereby only 3 inches touch the floor. Brooms can spread viruses and bacteria through the spread of mice and rat feces and other similar type of organic material. I never buy used brooms, vacuum cleaners, mattresses, or underwear. Why is it so hard to get a decent broom nowadays?? Packing it back up to be returned, and then I'm going immediately to my sink and scrub my hands. What a waste of time. See photos attached.

    Where is the dust pan that comes with the broom
    The broom says on the label that it comes with a dust pan but mine did not have a dust pan with it so I ask where is my dust pan? Now I have to buy the dust pan.

    King of the brooms!
    This is an excellent broom ! It just doesn't pick up dirt , it gets up the fine little dust particles too. The shape and angle allows you to get into the little cracks and corners too. I've had this broom for some time now and it still looks brand new. Other brooms I've bought would look like they were 20 years old and falling apart by now. And the dust pan is just as awesome as the broom it came with. You don't have to chase the dirt all over the place trying to get it in the dust pan. It's a very sturdy dust pan ,You get cleaner floors with less work. Definitely recommend this awesome duo!

    This is a very nice and sturdy angled broom with dustpan. Works perfectly for my wood floors. Tge broomstick is metal so it won't bend or break like a plastic one.

    Best Angle Broom
    O-Cedar Power Corner Multi Surface Angle Broom With Dust Pan arrived packaged nicely in a large light box. Immediately, I was pleasantly surprised by the look and durability of the broom and dustpan. I have purchased angled brooms in the past but this one is has a much steeper angle perfect for reaching under the ridge of the fridge, edges around the litter box and even a bit under the stove and washer and dryer edges. The dustpan is equally nice and functions well. The handle connects well to the broom handle. The rubber tip of the dustpan is just enough rubber material to bend and mold to the floor without being to grippy that all the hair and dust sticks to it. Both the broom and dustpan are lightweight and simple to maneuver without much effort. Although red wouldn't be my first choice for anything kitchen related, the durability and styling outways the color. However, I do like the grey and black bristles and they both function differently to pull and capture dirt. The broom hangs nicely on the plastic hook I have in the basement from an old broom. I didn't have to change the size of the hook even though this is considered a large angle broom. The largest part is the nice angle of the bristles. Although I have chosen this broom for indoor use, I'm tempted to purchase one for the outdoors as well. The angle would be great for cobwebs in hard to reach corners in the garage or small crevices on the porch full of leaves and dirt. Overall, a great addition to the cleaning routine in the kitchen and basement.

    Solid Broom
    Most of us do not think much about which broom to buy. In the past, I have always just chosen the broom that was on the rack, not really thinking about what the differences were between the various ones (I mean a broom is a broom, right?). I really have to say that I have been re-educated with this broom. It really does clean better than a standard one. The first thing I noticed was that the angle really does get further into the corners under the edge of the cabinets and the stove. It is nicely balanced so you can sweep longer before you start getting tired. Another feature is the little handle close to the head that makes it work like a whisk broom when you are sweeping the dirt into the dustpan. The dustpan is also quite nice as it actually fits the broom. It clips on and does not slide down the handle like some I have had in the past. It also has a place on the back that acts like a scraper for the broom and helps pull out those little dust bunnies that always seem to get caught in the broom bristles - without you having to use your fingers.

    One pass does it all
    Unfortunately, the O-Cedar Power Corner Broom I ordered arrived with a damaged handle (see picture). This fact should not discourage you from buying this broom. I really needed a new broom so I replaced the handle and went to work. (see picture - black handle instead of a red one) Also, in the picture notice the great job the broom did on handling the fine green pollen that covers everything this time of year in my part of the country. The broom is light weight and easy to handle. Just 2 swipes and I had a pile of pollen ready to be swept into the dust pan and tossed away. My husband likes to use a leaf blower to clean the pollen but I feel this just spreads it back into the air. By sweeping it up I feel I really get rid of it. In my opinion, if this broom can sweep up this fine pollen so easily, it can tackle any job.

    Bigger, wider
    The broom and dustpan are wider which allows you to cover a bit more area when sweeping. I like the fact the dustpan is just a tiny bit larger than the broom making it easier to use. With one swoop you can get your mess into the dustpan without creating another mess to clean up. The angle of the bristles and handle make it comfortable to use, however the tilt of the broom doesn't allow you to stand it up against a wall without the dustpan being attached to the very bottom of the broom itself. Once you've filled the dustpan you usually stand your broom up against a wall or somewhere then go to empty the dustpan. The broom doesn't stand against a wall well because of the tilt of the handle and the bristles. The same goes for storing it in the closet. For storage, I'd suggest hanging it on a hook or prop it up against something. Placing the broom against the wall is annoying because it can't stand on its tilt, that is the only reason my rating wasn't 5 stars.

    Great performance
    The broom angle did a great job getting into corners. The design of the bristles also got into the grout lines and grooves of tile. I was surprised at the amount of dirt and dust I got from a “clean” floor. The handle is securely attached to the broom head. I tried to unscrew/remove the handle and it is on securely so I had no issues with the broom head turning while I swept. The dustpan is large. It has a rubber gasket that makes a semi-seal to the floor and made it easier to sweep dirt into it. The gasket appears to be securely attached to the dustpan. The dustpan handle snaps onto the broom handle for storage and is same shape as the broom head. I like that I can store the dustpan with the broom. I would have preferred that the dustpan extend below the bristles of the broom so I could prop the broom on the dustpan and not on the bristles when stored. The top of the broom handle has a loop to hang the broom if needed. I saw no safety issues with the broom or dustpan. Overall, I was happy with the performance of the broom.

    Nice Set
    I myself prefer the Angle Brooms I feel they work way better then the straight bristles especially when you sweeping the corners of a room. First off this is made by O-Cedar and made in the good oh U.S.A. I like the idea that the dust pan is made to attach to the handle which keeps it from falling off or being lost. I usually put some kind of tape on my older brooms so I could attach the dust pan with this Cedar Corner Angle Broom I don't need to that as it stays attached to the handle. I also always store my brooms upside down with the bristles up and the handle down unless they they have a hook or opening on the handles on the top then I'll do that. This broom bristles measure 9" at the top and the bottom is 12" in width and the length from the top part of the handles to the end of the bristles measures 54". I also prefer the mental over plastic or wood. I haven't had this very long so I'm not sure how well it will hold up but, like I said I never put my brooms with the bristles on the ground or floor it messes them up. So far I like this set a lot and I'm sure you will to.
