Do not buy, spend your money on a Kitchen Aide
Horrible mixer, it has gotten worse since it was first used. It didn't seem that bad but after using it more than a dozen times it makes an awful noise and the speed change after you get above 6, would not recommend this product to anyone no matter the price. If it were given to me for free I would put it in the trash bin. Cannot believe I spent that much on such a horrible machine. Should have spent the extra and gotten a kitchen aide.

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/08/2017Not happyBought this about a year ago and have been okay with it's usage. I don't use the whisk attachment much, maybe twice in the year I have had it and when I went to use it today it fell apart.. I have overlooked the noise and the fact that the paddle attachment don't get to the bottom of the bowl, but this is just about it.. Thinking of just pitching the whole thing and going with the more popular brand that I thought about in the first place. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]dodgelovingirl

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/28/2016stand mixerI use it all the time it is great. Just be careful when you use the whisk attachment that whatever you are trying to whisk is softened. I didn't and the butter I was trying to whisk was too hard and the whisk came apart.Ginger

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/12/2016Excellent Stand MixerI've been looking for a great mixer that does its job in the way it should do. Tho KitchenAid is the best but the price is too high, I think this Oster Planetary Mixer is the next best! The price is right. The model is great looking. Easy to use, the speed is awesome! It mixes perfectly, all the way around, not having to scrap the bowl much. I hope this mixer will last me a long time!2FabMom2

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/13/2015Pretty good mixerI bought this a few months back and it is a pretty good mixer. The only problem I have had is with the whip attachment. It completely fell apart and my local walmart doesn't carry oster replacement parts like it does other brands. I'm not to thrilled about paying shipping either.Nikki Ge

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/11/2014Great Value Mixer for the PriceIf you're in the market for a mixer, get this one. We wanted to get a mixer for a long time but never wanted to spent too much money as we wouldn't utilize as often as other appliances. The Oster Mixer provides great mixer feature for a great price. If you're a professional or plan to use the mixer on daily bases, you probably should hold out for a higher end model but if you plan to use this once in a while at home, don't bother spending more and get this item Pro: Heavy Duty - does not feel cheap and should last a long time Powerful - great motor Slick looking Cons: bowl is a bit smallSF2003

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/06/2013Not a KitchenAid, butThis may not be a KitchenAid, but at half the price, THIS IS A CONTENDER!!! The entry level KitchenAid stand mixer has a 250W motor and this one has a 350. The entry level KA is over $300 unless on a rather extreme sale. This one is just slightly over HALF the price! It comes with the dough hook, which is substantial, a wisk, and a very substantial beater blade. It's "planetary" action scrapes the sides of the bowl. It has 12 speeds. I had a KitchenAid and sold it b/c it was SO heavy, I hated hauling it out. I was also always resentful that I'd spent over $300. This one does all the jobs, is light enough that you can actually handle it with ease, and I'm very pleased. Now, if you are a professional baker or caterer, you need to go for the KA. This one will probably not stand up for decades under constant daily use. But, if you are like most of us... occasional bakers, pizza makers, and mixer users, this will definitely do the trick. I highly recommend it. I also have the Oster countertop convection oven and love it too. Oster makes some high quality, affordable, products!SavvySecrets

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/17/2013Better than expected for quality! The mixer is certainly much nicer than I would have ever expected. I received it as a test sample and was amazed at opening the box to find a high quality, well created stainless steel mixer. I got into baking, blending and mixing the same day. It worked wonderful. It not only was able to work through the toughest pizza dough smoothly, but the motor was quieter than I had expected. It had no issues working through granola for granola bread and the simple to mix cookie dough batter was done in seconds compared to minutes by hand. The only drawbacks I found for the system were I almost threw out the clear guard, which was my own fault. If you are lucky enough to own the machine be sure to check the packaging carefully. I didn't even have to read through the owners manual and everything was self explanatory and easy to use. The other complaint I had was the size of the system. Yes for large batches of things I know I need a bigger machine and bowl but it is larger than my microwave and being OCD with my counters almost empty at all times storing the machine is a big of a daunting task for me. I have 3 weddings and 2 house warming parties to attend this summer and the mixer is certainly high on my list for possibilities!KLR1979
