This is a great paddle!
This paddle is so much better than your average table tennis paddle. It feels more comfortable in my hands. It spins nicely and had a good grip. It's nuce and lightweight and just works great ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    I hope to try it someday, if I get the plastic off
    Buyer beware. The other reviewer who said it took 2 hours to get the protective plastic off wasn't kidding. That factor alone makes me swear...off buying any Penn paddles ever again. I highly recommend the Joola Control paddle for a couple bucks less--it's a solid competitive paddle for the price.

    Very affordable above average paddle
    I've usually used your typical generic paddles when playing ping pong. When I saw these paddles for a couple dollars more than the basic ones I decided to give them a try. I am not disappointed. I would recommend these for recreational use or low level competitive play.

    Great Paddle For Great Price
    This paddle is very good! Others are saying its bad but in my opinion for 5 dollars this is probably the best paddle for that price and the grip and feel are so good

    Very frustrating packaging
    Paddle is fine, once you peel off the plastic. It took over 2 hours per paddle to peel off the plastic covering, which was practically glued to the rubber surfaces. With two paddles, I picked and peeled through many TV episodes and now have most of the rubber surfaces cleared. Photos of the final remaining side. Would not recommend.

    Don't buy it
    I do not recommend this product. There is an outside packaging that is easily removed but then there is also a film on the surface of the paddle that is nearly impossible to remove without damaging the surface. I've been trying to remove it for the last 40 minutes. It's stuck. I may have to return the product which is usually a long wait at Walmart. Not happy at all with this product.

    Plastic Covering Stuck On Paddle
    There is a plastic film covering each side of the paddle on one side it came off really easily and quick the other one will not come off at all. Seems like a good paddle but it got ruined bc now half of the plastic is still stuck too it. I peeled off a tiny spot but no more is coming off. So frustrating.

    The rubber stated peeling off on sides just after couple of uses but very small portion and may not have any effect on its function
