Good product, easy shipping process and fast set up
In our PT clinic, gets an average of 20 patients x 10 minutes a day, we have had 0 issues in 3 weeks of heavy use. Weight and height ranges pose no problem, this is a sturdy machine. The seat is slick, patients have reported issues with shifting and having to adjust often. I cannot comment on pre-programmed workouts as I haven't used them. Was easy to set up and is easy to move around, which should make it easy to store (I do not).

Purchase of elyptical
I was given an amazing elyptical from my husband but I have never been able to use it. It did not come with the power cord that is needed to power up the screen. I have spent over $100 buying cords that are suppose to work but do not. I've called the company to no avail. So my gift just sits collecting dust.

    I would never buy this product again
    I bought this in March last year my wife was having knee issues and needed a low impact exercise. I retired in July and started using it every day. I was up to 45 minutes per day. In early December the upright to base plate connection tore in half. I had not registered my machine up until that time. So I registered it then. I have long ago lost the receipt. I emailed the company and never heard back. I broke the machine down and took it to the metal recycle place. I didn't have time to pursue the issue and just moved on with my life. I enjoyed using it but for all the heavy steel in the construction it didn't hold up. My fault for not registering it right away. I will buy a bike from a different manufacturer.

    Sturdy and quiet.
    I use this my Pro Form Endurance Elliptical to improve my cardio- vascular health and to aid in weight loss. I love its sturdy design and quiet operation. It is heavy and cannot be easily moved around or stowed. It makes a great addition to a home fitness center. Be aware: the additional purchase of an IFIT module is required for connectivity to IFIT subscription services such as IFIT Coach and IFIT Street View powered by Google maps. If you want the complete interactive experience, you must purchase the IFIT module.

    Low Impact exercising machine
    Set up in the garage and use it daily for a few minutes. will work up to longer sessions, but taking it slow for now. Set up was not difficult, but definitely need a helper. Heavy machine (200 lbs or so), but not too hard to move with the wheels in front. Since there is no cover available for this unit, we have ordered an extra large BBQ Grill cover (72 long, 30 wide, 48 tall) and will cut a hole in the top to slip over the unit to keep dust out. Later we will get some type of cover for the controls on top. We live in Texas and there is not escaping the dirt/dust. Proform needs to develop a cover for this unit, as we all cannot store in a dirt proof room.

    I have had my Endurance 520 E for a couple months now. It works great, no squeaking, no issues. It is extremely sturdy. I weigh 250+, but I am not tall, and there is no rocking or twisting or creaking at all. I got a smoking sale price of about $540, which is totally worth it compared to the other ellipticals in the $200-400 range, mainly because of the sturdiness. I see it is now over $700, and I would not have gone that high in price. The assembly worried me, but I simply followed other reviewers advice: lay out everything and take inventory, and slowly go step by step. It took me about 2 1/2+ hours, including unpacking and clean-up. I did it alone. There were two parts that would have been easier with two people, but it was still doable. Like other reviewers said, almost impossible to save the box intact. It is very smooth, and the magnetic resistance is smooth and strong. I mostly just use Manual, as I am not in good enough shape to try some of the programs. If you are tech-savvy or like tech stuff, the iFit set-up looks very cool. I simply have not used it because it costs money. I will probably activate it at some point. I was a bit worried about the longer stride length. I am 5' 9" and my mom is 5' 6", and neither of us found it an issue. In my opinion, if you do your research, you will see negative reviews for everything. I think it simply comes down to if you happen to get a "lemon". If you don't see many bad reviews for a product, then you will probably be fortunate and get a good product. If you see many bad reviews, then probably steer clear. Lastly, I also chose the ProForm because there were good reviews about the service when customers did have a problem. I have not had to use their service, and hopefully I won't. Like the title says: excellent product.

    Very happy with my purchase!
    I had been walking for several months and had lost about 14 pounds and hit a plateau. I wanted to add something else to my exercise program and with winter setting in, I decided on an elliptical. I'd previously used one at a gym and really liked it. I searched on line and found the preform brand. The 520E was a great price, with all of the features that I wanted. It shipped right to my door and was easy to assemble. I look forward to my almost daily workout on it and once again the weight has started to come off. I would definitely recommend this machine!!

    As expected
    Delivery went as promised. No damage to anything. My husband put this together by himself. He is mechanically inclined, said if someone isn't it might take them a bit longer but they shouldn't have a problem. Glad we got this. It is a good workout. Haven't used all of the functions on a regular basis yet so I guess review could change. We have tried everything to make sure it works though. We are older. He is 61 and I am 57. Reasonably fit. Our weight is under 150. Height 5' 5" - 5' 7".

    not what i expected
    For the amount paid thought it would be a better product. Very rocky when you use it and doesn't have the smooth glide effect like the one i use in the gym. On the bright side it does give a very effective work out.
