I think they changed their recipe, it tastes weird and the color seems darker, my last three jars have been the same.

    I regret buying it.
    I tried this sauce the first time back when the Old World Style Mushroom first disappeared it was terrible. For years now I stopped eating Spaghetti with Ragu altogether. Then a month ago my son and I had some spaghetti at a friend's and it made me miss the Old World Style Mushroom Ragu I grew up on. So I decided to give the Chunky Mushroom another try. Even after years without, it still tastes terrible.

    oh my goodness amazing
    oh my goodness this sauce is amazing. I got it cuz I just like mushrooms in my spaghetti wanted to do an easy way that time. and it was better than fresh. really really good

    I love this pasta sauce and I guess this should be a tribute to the strength of the jars, but I got 4 jars of this sauce, 4 jars of another flavor and 2 cans in a huge box with no packaging at all. I guess I should be grateful I didn't get a box full of broken glass.

    Ragu Super Chunky Mushroom is just delicious. It has nice big chunks of tomato and mushrooms. My family just went crazy for it. My husband told me that I am no longer allowed to buy the cheaper sauce. He says this is the type of spaghetti sauce he wants for now on and can't wait to try the other flavors. Ragu isn't watery like other sauces I have used. It has alot of flavor and a sweet taste to it. My husband love the fact it was a little sweet. I will definitely be buying this from now on.

    I didn't know Ragu had a super chunky, let alone mushroom, so I was delighted to try it. Spaghetti has to have mushrooms. I liked the flavor of the sauce and how well it stuck to the noodles. However I was disappointed in the amount of mushroom. Yes, the pieces were larger but so few of them in the 45 oz jar. I didn't find one mushroom in my serving. I expected more.

    A Saucy Tale
    I've been trying just about every spaghetti/ pasta sauce I can find--there is an amazing and sometimes unique selection of sauce. I used Ragu Traditional for years because that's all our kid's would eat. Once I ventured into the 'wild side' of sauce and bought something chunky or chunkier. All I heard was "Eeww!There's chunks in this! Why didn't you buy the 'old' sauce?" Mind you our kids were 'elite' eaters if the 'chunks' of spaghetti came from a buffet featuring a claw machine,video games and a basket ball hoop in the back.Know wonder I waited so long to try my pasta experiment! Ragu has improved SO MUCH it's astonishing! I stopped using it because it seemed so thin and watery.It sputtered all over the stove--even on low. I tried it (again) because I wanted a chunky mushroom sauce and the price was right--as usual. I bought one jar for mushroom only and one jar for mushroom/Italian sausage. I tweaked the mushroom with sauteed mushrooms and olives. Turned out TERRIFIC--both pots of sauce. Great fresh taste and the sauce was medium thick-not tomato water not tomato paste. Everyone loved this sauce and I gave a big bowl to my daughter and son-in-law--working overtime with no time to cook. Ragu Super Chunky mushroom is so right--right price,taste,and texture. Too include the many mushrooms and veggies IN the jar--Ragu makes a delicious meat free meal. It's an absolute "OOH!" Thanks.
