There was a place for the wrench in the box, but it was missing. This made it difficult to put together. I purchased a few Allen wrenches and found one that fit some of the screws. According to the instructions, the screws were all the same size. However, the screws I received were not. Some of them couldn't be used with an Allen wrench because the shape was a circle. The hardware is poor quality. I had to use pliers to put the chair together which stripped the screws and caused a lot of rough spots. The chair is not as sturdy as I would have hoped. Overall, I would not recommend this chair because it was such a hassle to put together and the hardware is poor.Arielle
