Adorable desk
I wanted a slim, white desk with large drawers for storage. This desk is just that! Some bad reviews online for this desk worried me to buy this desk. But the set up was fairly easy, just long. It took us about 90 min to put it together. But every piece matched & every screw/nail was used. It went very smoothly. The finish on this desk is very pretty! It has a faux antique look, and it matches the natural tones in our home decor. The only thing I dislike about this desk is the bottoms of the drawer are a pretty thin panel that slide into the bottom. We have had other drawers like this and they are easily bent. These don't seem like they will hold up long, even though the instructions say it will hold 25 lbs. I would definitely recommend this desk for anyone looking for an adorable desk that doesn't take up a lot of room.

Does not make sense
This desk looks good but is a pain to put it together. The directions are dumb in that when putting the moulding on the front, directions tell you not to put screw in all the way but they give a 1.5" screw that goes through the top of your desk before it is in halfway. Plus the moulding does not allow the drawers to close because the screws are in the way. I ended up removing the moulding all together which took away from the look but at least the drawers are now closed. OAN I have the three holes on the top of the desk. Please do not buy and save yourself the headache until the manufacturing is corrected or you have them put it together for you.

    Perfect size for a small room. Roomy opening for legs & foot rest. Nice finish and colour. Lengthy process to assemble. Bottom drawer protrudes out a little on one side. Keyboard tray needs to be lifted to close properly. Otherwise happy with quality and would recommend. A qualified handyperson may not experience the same assembly issues as a novice installer.

    Great desk for our 7yr old son
    We are very pleased with this desk. We bought this for our 7yr old son, and it fits him perfectly with room to grow for many years. The distressed look is very nice. And the construction seems to be quite sturdy. We did a slight bit of trouble getting the file drawers to align properly, but with a bit of adjusting they seem to be opening and closing smoothly. Overall, very pleased with this product.

    Beautiful desk!
    I bought this for my daughter. She loves it. It is not to big - not to small, and has very big drawers. It could be for kids and adult office also. Beautiful color. Easy to set up with instruction.

    Great Desk
    I was shocked at the quality of this desk. I really didn't expect it to be so durable and beautiful for the low price. Mostly you get what you pay for, but not with this desk. It is solid! I love the look of the antiqued finish. It went above my expectations for the quality. I highly recommend. It was not easy to put together as the hardware was not labeled and it took awhile to figure out what was what, but in the end it is a gorgeous desk.

    Very Difficult to assemble!
    My husband I almost had an anxiety attack when we opened the box and saw all the pieces! The parts were not well marked. Some where not marked at all! It left us guessing and trying to figure out what went where. The nut, screws, hard Ware for assembling are in one bag all mixed together. We accidently used the wrong set of screws on the trim for the desk top ( they were dark brown not black I guess and they were too long and went right threw the desk top ruining it! We were sick because this is a birthday gift for our daughter. It took over 3 hours to get together and it is not off white or white, it is blonde or light yellow. The desk is not a bad looking desk once it is assembled, all the screws, parts etc. were there. The drawers and tracks all lined up and opened and closed nicely. This, however, is not a project for the faint hearted or the "not mechanically inclined!" Make sure you get the right screws while following the instructions. It was the only mistake we made and it was all it took to ruin the product! We will be putting a 50 dollar piece of plexiglass on top of it now to try and cover the damage. Good luck to future assemblers.

    Good desk for the price
    I'm pleased with desk now that I have it put together, but I had to go through the process twice! The first time it took almost 7 hours. Some of the parts weren't labeled which was frustrating, but the diagrams in the book are excellent. When I started putting together the larger drawer, one of the pieces wasn't cut out properly which ended up causing major problems. I ended up disassembling the desk and returned it to Walmart and ordered another one. The second time the assembly only took 2 1/2 hours and the parts fit perfectly. The instructions tell you not to use an electric drill, but after getting blisters turning all those screws, I used mine very carefully the second attempt. The desk is perfect for my needs and I'm now glad I got it.

    Overall a nice looking desk
    I was a little concerned having read all the reviews about the labeling of the pieces and how hard this desk was to set up. I will admit, that it took me 3 1/2 hours for the first and 2 1/2 hours for the second (I bought two), but the pieces were labeled and if you follow the directions, it is not complicated. The rails for the drawers could certainly be better labeled. The color is really off white, and not white, as expressed by others, but it is really pretty and is described as antique white, which it is. It is a solid desk, but heed this warning, do not set up the desk far from where you want it. The top of the desk does not really attach to the base/side parts but for a few "locking cams" that lock into the base of the desk, but do not lock the top of the desk on to the base. Therefore, if you pick up the top of the desk, it will come off, and the base will collapse on itself. If you know to move the desk ONLY from the bottom, it will be fine. Once the top is one, it won't slide off, but it will come off if you lift it. I find this design to be a HUGE design flaw, but I would probably buy one again, even knowing this, as it is a nice looking desk for both my son and daughter and it is not flimsy once you put it together (even with the top part that can be removed).
