A great little safe.
This is an affordable shelf safe that works well in our office. The push button combo entry makes it very easy to use. Has a nice shelf on the inside which increases the usable space. Good value for the money and seems well built.

Poor construction for a safe.
Safe came damaged and was completely unusable. There was minimal damage on the box, so it appears it was shipped this way. The door was jammed closed and was off about a quarter inch.

    Good size for important paperwork. I like that it has a shelf for segregation of categories, and that it is pre-drilled for mounting it to a stud. I especially like that it has a key backup in case the batteries die. Thieves will look at it and think it is loaded with cash and so not look elsewhere, so I will fool them and keep my money under the mattress (LOL)

    Security Code default is a risk...
    The safe's default code is kept active after you change it, in he event you forget the new code. The physical key is the backup to access the safe. Keeping the default code is an unsafe security practice.

    Sentry Safe 1.2 CFT
    This is a functional safe...nothing spectacular. It is light weight, can be installed easily. The installation bolts/screws are not particularly good. I used better ones from Home Depot. The holes in the rear are too small for most laptop/iPad cables. The lock is functional, but lacks in strength.
