can't beat the price
I live in Washington State, this shipped free from New York and beat Amazon price by $30. Different safes have different insurance coverage for contents. More coverage, more $.

Except for the plastic lever to open the door which does not look as sturdy as i'd like, everything else is perfect.

I don't need to rent a safe box for like $75/yr. , it's heavy but you can still move to different place in your house just ask for help you , looks very secured & I love it.McCloid

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/21/2015Great personal safe-Very secureI bought mine years ago and a couple years back someone attempted to get into it.All they managed to do was break the the lever to open it.I had it anchored to the concrete foundation with half inch wedge anchors so getting in is very hard especially that I had it in my closet.I moved and hadn't used it in some time and wanted to fix it so I contacted Sentry and they sent me a new handle for free.I felt that was good of them to do that seeing as I was expecting to pay at least twenty bucks for it.Well,my safe is back in duty and protecting my important papers and personal items.Sentry makes great safes at good prices and I like mine very much.My Wade

Once I got it I read the instructions and there's nothing to it it's just like having any combination lock you go right once you go left twice and then right once again and that's that easy It doesn't come with a key but that's what I want it I was afraid of losing the key by having someone take it It's pretty heavy but if you mounted will be safer because it can get taken easy you can either mounted upright with the combination lock facing you or down flat it comes with all the items to do so the only thing I didn't like was that everything inside is plastic even an item attached to the door but for the price you can't beat it it's safe enough for what I wanted for it's supposed to be fire safe god forbid that ever happens.. :)Elsito

Finally got it home and considering the size, I really wasn't expecting it to be that large. However, though it is just what I needed and always wanted to own one of my own. I am waiting for my brother to stationaire it for me and at the moment using it as is and more than enough for what I want to use it for. I checked around different sites before settling on WalMarts as they offered it at a great offer. So now, I feel comfortable in knowing I have something I can store my valuables in. As stated "LOVE IT". I would indeed recommend to others who are looking for something not big, not too small but just right. This safe is it.... Thanks WalMartSAG11

The 2 safes that were in my final search were offered in the very best sizes and prices of all sources only at Wal Mart. It weighs around 80 pounds and I just couldn't handle it. I am a senior with average strength and it is just too heavy for me to lift or move around. It is a very good value for the price if you can handle the weight.RO9J

It looks and feels tough. The only drawbacks are that the handle is made of plastic and the combination wheel grinds a little instead of moving smoothly. For the price it's a good deal.jstryit

Bolted down to the floor yesterday which was pretty easy. Unit did not include bolt down kit, so I took a trip to local OSH, spent $2.50 on a couple of bolts, washer set. Took about 2 hours for whole job which included locating appropriate place to mount the unit, drilling holes of the vault and the floor, trip to OSH, and mounting it down. I wish locking mechanism and handle was made of metal rather than plastic. But it looks OK and works fine, so no complains. Overall I am happy.ValueBuyerA1
