Great Safe!!
This safe is great because it is big enough to put the necessary personal paperwork and small enough to put in our bigger safe, plus it is fire and water proof.

Not What I Expected
There was one review on here that had me sold instantly because it was a real life experience. Maybe mine was defective but I returned it and didn't bother getting another one. I was attempting to put mine away by holding the handle (obviously that should be how it works, grab the handle and lift the safe) .. well the entire handle area came off!! Just fell apart. Needless to say I now see why it was so cheap. I really thought this was what I wanted, guess I need to wait to get better quality.

    Nice but ...
    I have owned Sentry products for many years and they are great. This one is also great but I fount it to be a little complicated to open. Hard to lift the lid. I had to returned it.

    Just What I Needed
    After buying a new home in another state, I am currently residing in both. I have a floor safe in the first home, but wanted a secure, protected lock box for documents and other important items at the new home. The H0100 Fire/Water Chest fit the bill perfectly. I feel secure knowing these items are safe.

    So far so good!
    We've only had this safe for about a month, but so far it is doing exactly what we need—keeping our important documents secure. It is a little taller than I expected so keep that in mind, especially if you plan to keep the safe under a bed or somewhere else with low clearance.

    Poor lock construction and worse key
    Lock is tough to lock/open. Must push down decent amount (more than expected for a quality safe). Key broke off in lock on our move…thank God it broke when opening, not locking. Well see if Sentry Safe gives a refund…i will update with customer service result good or bad.

    Looks like luggage
    Very convenient to use and store, looks like luggage. Fire and smoke proof / water resistant, I keep all my Valuable Documents and Certificates that can't be replaced in this safe. Those are a few reason why you should own a safe of this caliber. Don't take a chance because you never know when tragedy will happen. One of the best investments I ever made.

    Secure & sturdy
    This was a replacement safe for our original that the hinge disintegrated & the lid fell off. I emailed Customer Support & explained the situation, within 4 days we received this new replacement safe. We're extremely pleased with how easy & fast the old one was replaced we highly recommend Sentry Safe!

    Sentry Safe small chest
    Received the item via Amazon today, 4/18/21. The box was taped as it would have been directly from the manufacturer. Once we opened the box to take the safe out we were in disgusted and extremely disappointed as to the condition of the safe. It was very dirty, the lock mechanism is misaligned (or broken), and off in color.
