Tough and sturdy protective case.
I wasn't looking for a safe as much as I was a protective case for sensitive/important documents. This case seems tough and sturdy and it feels like it would do the job of protecting what's inside should it ever be in a fire or flood etc.

Not reliable or long lasting. Don't recommend!
We've had our safe for 5 years. Warranty expired after a year but I strongly feel like these things should be built to last past just FIVE years! They are holding your most valuable things. We barely open it except a few times a year to retrieve the valuables (most of which is just papers). With almost no effort at all I go to open the case and the top handle just falls off. It appears as though there was but a chalky flimsy substance holding it on. How is this supposed to keep say an intruder from busting it open??? So cheap. Going to look elsewhere for a replacement.

    We had a break in and the robber was able to get in through the safe without the key. Pulled off the handle and was able access it

    Potential is there
    The interior length and width dimensions are too small. A standard file folder should fit easily without bending. The gasket comes off too easily, it should be glued or otherwise secured in place other than by tension. Perhaps place it on the base instead of the lid? The lock needs to be upgraded. Otherwise it's acceptably good.

    Good Value, Old stock Product
    Nice little safe, but purchased in 2021, but the unit was produced in 2016. Ridiculous that it needs a separate purchase of desiccant packs to keep your items from getting wet and moldy. And yes, as expected, smaller than promised by published inside dimensions. Just remember you are getting what you paid for.

    Plastic Handle Snapped Off
    Chest worked fine for a few years, then the plastic handle snapped right out of the chest. It was past the 1-yr manufacturer's warranty period, maybe three or four years of light use. In hindsight, I recommend that you spend a little more money for a better brand or a higher-quality product of this brand.
