easy to use
Wow I have to say I love the 12 inch foam mattress. I love that my sheets fit it perfectly without the sheets coming off the ends. I love how comfortable it is to lie on . Its very supportive and gives me the perfect nice rests on my body. I love how easy it was to unroll and put on my box spring . This is a really good foam mattress that is lasting me long and still as comfortable as the day I got it .

Lacks longevity
When I first got this out of the box and unfurled it, it was super comfortable. I was actually surprised at how well I slept on it the first couple of months of owning it. However it is already starting to sag and now I don't sleep on it nearly as well as I did when I first got it. Of course, the return period has passed so I'm stuck with this expensive huge mattress that will only grow less and less comfortable over time. Each night I can feel it sagging a bit more than the night before. Super frustrating that I paid this much for something that is essentially going to become useless in a matter of months.

    Buyer beware
    What a disappointment! I was a little skeptical of the “bed in a box” concept but I bought the mattress that was a few steps above the bottom, so I thought it would be okay. I'm only 180 lbs and it's just me sleeping on it but about a month after sleeping on it, it's already started to sag. If I find myself slightly out of “the hole”, my body is fighting to avoid falling back in—I sleep on my side and my perception is that my position is not secure. The online purchase was easy and the delivery was super quick—-no problem there. I previously had a Serta but it had inner springs. It lasted 11 years, although the last two of those years were a struggle to keep it comfortable. I just hope Serta will work with me to find a reasonable solution, as I am well within their 120 day guarantee.

    LOVE!!!!
    We were so pleased with this mattress! It offers firm yet very comfortable support. You can use with or without a bed frame which is very nice! The quality of the materials seem to be of excellent quality! I can't think of any cons to mention. Just a perfectly comfortable mattress!

    The mattress seems to be medium on the edges and firm in the middle. Weird! I don't know how two people would be able to sleep on it comfortably. After a week of having it I gave the mattress away and ordered the Spa Sensations 10” firm mattress. As soon as I opened the Spa Sensations mattress out of its box and plastic, I could already tell it was 100% better! Serta needs to step up their game and lower their price. It's definitely not worth the money for what you get.

    Splendid Slumber, Indeed
    I was in the market for a new mattress and came across this one. I had recently seen & heard things about the whole "mattress in a box" idea. So I decided to order it. With the claims and description, I was intrigued and hoping that it lived up to what it claimed to offer. The mattress was/is for my master bedroom for myself and my husband. I have severe fibromyalgia, degenerative disk disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, amongst other things. So I am ALWAYS in pain, ALWAYS. Poor sleep, along with a poor quality mattress (and/or the wrong type of mattress) only makes these issues worse. My husband has scoliosis (curved spine) which is another reason why our choice of mattress is extremely important. When it arrived, even though I knew it was a "mattress in a box", I was still surprised by the size of the box. I even had the thought that they sent the wrong item because I didn't understand how a queen size mattress could fit in a box of its shape and size. But lo and behold, it was indeed the right one. It was rolled tighty, covered in plastic. I appreciated that they included a plastic cutter that resembled some kinds of mail openers. Made it more convenient. Since it was rolled so tight, along with some of the reviews I have seen, I was worried about it being able to unfurl and open up into the appropriate shape and size. Luckily, within a day it was good to go. We have been using this mattress for a little over 3 months now, I believe. We both are pleasantly surprised by not only the quality but how much we like it and have benefitted from it. I get hot very easily and the cooling claim seems to be accurate. I dont get as hot on this mattress. There seems to be more breathability and airflow. The support isnt too firm or too soft, its perfect. It does actually relieve pressure and help support the right areas. I can also attest to it living up to its claim of minimizing my partners movements. I dont feel him moving or rolling over as much as I did with other mattresses. I also like that it has an antimicrobial cover to help prevent odor and bacteria. I feel like since we have been using this mattress, when I wake up I feel more rested, my body doesnt feel as tight, I'm able to fall asleep faster, more comfortable overall. My husband has been having a bit less discomfort with his back as well. So I am so glad that I took a chance on this mattress. I hope it benefits and helps other people just as much as it has for us.

    Sleeps like a dream
    I ordered this Splendid Slumber 12" Foam mattress from Serta to replace my current mattress. I did not realize what I was missing until I slept on this cloud. So comfortable, It cradles the body to provide just the right amount of firmness. It's plush without being too soft. The gel in the mattress also helped me stay cool, all night long. The best part of this mattress? It comes in a box. Front door delivery of my bed? Yes please! You just follow the directions and open the box and unfurl the mattress on the platform. That's it! You are now ready for the slumber of your dreams. I am very satisfied with this mattress.

    Good night sleep
    The mattress ces rolled up in a nice sturdy box. It also had a cutter inside for the plastic so you don't have to worry about cutting the mattress at all while opening. I got such a good night's sleep on this mattress, best I have had in a while.

    I Love gel mattresses and this mattress is amazing with gel memory foam love sinking in it for maximum comfort and a good night sleep it is super easy to assemble unfolded really well and is quite breathable unlike my previous mattress which is amazing nothing bad to talk about it its just superb my kids love sleeping in as well.
