Great vacuum
I literally love this little vacuum it is so light weight and easy to control but very powerful. I have hardwood floors it does a great job getting up all the dust bunnies and any food on the floor and it can come off the base and be used as a hand held vac. I would definitely recommend

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!
This vacuum is not suitable for households with pets or any area where fine dust is an issue (i.e., dry, agricultural or desert locations). It has virtually NO filtration. As the motor is at the top of the unit, the air exiting the motor housing blows right into the user's face - "filtered" with foam of the type usually used in small, very light-duty vacuums and other appliances only as a pre-filter/pre-motor filter to capture large particulates and protect the motor. This vacuum's suction strength and power brushroll does a good job of picking up debris, but its lack of any true filtration is probably why it was on sale for half the original price. I was very disappointed and expected far better quality from a Shark. Most Shark vacuums include a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and a post-motor filter so, I recommend that customers check the filtration level before purchasing any vacuum.

    HV300 is a best value in the Shark Rocket line
    This is the most cost effective version of this vacuum. The vacuum is great. We ran it on a throw rug just to be sure it was working and I was ready to put it away until needed next use when my wife said, what is that in the clear viewing window. Shocked, this vacuum had picked up some dirt in the pile carpet our old vac was missing. Great value for the money.

    I liked this vacuum for about two months. I noticed right away the brush roll would get stuck, and the red light came on. You have to unscrew it and cut the trapped hair. I did this several times and I thought it was ok. Today the red light kept coming on and even after I cut the hair off it was still red. I don't have the box anymore so now I'm going to have to purchase another vacuum. Very frustrating.

    Great vacuum with one slight issue
    I replaced by old Bissell and realized after using this vacuum that I was living in filth. Wonderful suction, easy to use, and it picks up hair! One issue is it doesnt stand up on its own in carpet/floor mode. I have already dropped it twice. Just gotta get used to holding it I suppose. Otherwise it's a superbly designed vacuum.

    I'm an owner of several sharks but is always nice to have a brand new one!!! Can't beat the price and delivered to house!! Yippy!! Suction on these vacuums is excellent, this particular one does not have a separate dust collector cup it stays attached to handle:( Had to get use to emptying, other than that it's wonderful as always!

    I love the vacuum, frustrated no replacements
    Looking for Roller Brush Replacement for Shark Rocket Stick Ultra Light 2 n 1 HV306QBL40 bought in 2/2018. I called Shark, they no longer make replacements. They said the whole bottom needs to be replaced for 99.95 plus shipping and handling.

    Love it!
    We use this for our RV/Travel Trailer. I'm buying another for our home as well! Great suction power. Collapses down for storage. Long cord - I love that this is a corded stick vacuum. Rechargeable stick vacuums always lose so much sucking power when batteries age. This vacuum has 2 speeds. Easy to empty contents, and easy to handle.
