Spacious Nightstand
Love the South Shore products, picked out one for my father first, then I purchased a set. Beautiful craftmanship, very spacious drawers, nice design.

A piece was broken
Although the carton looked very good on the outside, when I opened it up I discovered the front bottom piece was broken. Rather than return the package, I decided to repair the broken piece. Using carpenters wood glue an a few corner braces, I was able to repair the broken piece and is barely noticeable. Also the back panel is made out of what appears to be cardboard. There was even a note in the box, not to throw the piece away, since it could easily be mistaken for packing material. Overall the finished nightstand was easy to assemble, looks good with ample drawer space.

    Wish it had stronger hardware
    Love the look & design but the drawer fronts keep pulling apart when you pull on drawer to open, even had to put a couple of my own screws in to keep together.

    Standard furniture
    Purchased item for use in an assisted living facility. Package arrived intact without any damage in shipping. Assembly directions were adequate. However assembly process was lengthy. Major assembly problem was the fasteners provided were poorly manufactured and there were no spares provided. Multiple fasteners were defective and unusable. Both the wood screw tops and the phillips head slots contained metal and you could not put a screwdriver in the slot to tighten / use the screws. Several of the pre-drilled holes were crooked. Fairly standard low to mid level furniture. Assembled piece externally looks very nice.
