Quality
First time I used them I locked the latch. Could not unlock the latches. All the locks broke off while trying to turn the keys. The levels that hold the money down inside the boxes pop out unexpected. If all you need is a cheap metal box with a latch that does not need to be locked then buy this if you want a secure functioning lock box stay away from this product

It's great. Serves its purpose. Only wish it had more compartments for more denominations. It's a really good cash box though, and well worth buying.

Not great, but definitely a good item
While it is not worth paying more than we did from Walmart, it is decent product for the purpose purchased. I wish that the bottom part lifted up so we could place things undetneath. Overall, we are satisfied.

    Bought for garage sells
I bought this to use at an upcoming garage sell to make secure cash financial transactions. It's perfect for that. Strong, sturdy and secure. All good to keep loose change in.

    Best product for the money
Heavy duty case, tiered coin tray, lock with two keys, has plenty of trays, and less than $20? Can't beat it

Pleased - easy to use; keeps money organized
This was exactly what I was looking for and the price was right. I would have given it five stars except it is not very rugged (but I wasn't looking for rugged-I was looking for organized). It is certainly perfect for keeping money organized and secure (won't blow away in the wind)--however, the lock leaves a lot to be desired and is mostly a deterrent and not a security feature. I like that it doesn't lock automatically and I don't have to unlock it every time I want to get into it. The keys are very, very flimsy (like the lock on a child's diary) but, like I said, I won't be locking this much, if at all; it is used to keep our beekeeping business' petty cash organized and secure for when we're set up at Farmer's Markets or just at home and someone stops in to buy local, raw honey. I recommend this for anyone wanting to keep their cash 'savings' organized and secure (as I bought a second one for just that purpose). I have a savings account, but this box is great for the cash savings that I try to accrue before big days (birthdays/anniversaries) and holiday (Christmas...) I find if it's withdrawn from the bank and kept separate from 'easy access' it stays "saved" until I spend it for what it's intended for - but, that might just be me. :-) Do not buy this if you're looking for a cheap 'fire safe' or rugged moneybox that would thwart thieves with little more than a screwdriver and a few minutes to get at your money. This should be considered an organized money tray that has a latch and can be locked.

    Good size but
I like the size of the cash box. I do not like the latch that locks it. I feel like it's flimsy so I don't use the handle to carry it. I'm afraid it will come loose and money will fall everywhere. There is a place for the $20.00 bills along with the other bills. I would rather have my $20's hidden underneath a tray like my old cash box.Out of sight. But it's practical. The plastic spring levers hold the bills down but I don't know for how long. It is made cheaply but hey I didn't break the bank paying for it either. Had I touched it prior to buying I might not have bought it? I use it at a concession stand that is why I don't like the $20's exposed. I don't think I would recommend it to other fellow Concession owners. We need something made sturdy..but again you get what you pay for. At least my bills won't go flying away...Please make one that the tray lifts so we can put our larger bills away safely..and replace the lock please.

    Good product for the value.
This product was everything I wanted it to be, especially for the value. Plenty of space in both the paper and coin money compartments. Won't hold a large amount of money, but worked good for me running a $1k gate. Not as durable as those costing more money, but this one works just fine. Locking mechanism isn't great, but does work.
