Very weak pressure
Very compact and portable. It is functional but the pressure is weak. Puts out about as much pressure as a spray nozzle on your hose would. Good for spraying debris off sidewalks or spraying dust off your house and windows but definitely not adequate for surface prep for deck staining or house painting or getting grime off of driveways or sidewalks. Buy or rent a gas powered one for those tasks.

Excellent for small projects around the yard. Easy to carry up to a deck or to get into tight areas where the bigger gas pressure washer is too large.

Great power washer for thw price
This is possibly one of the best electric power washers that i have ever bought. The adjustible spray nozzle makes it easy to adjust the spray angle and pressure being put on one area. Made my old deck look new again.

    AMAZING
Took my Jeep mudding, used this little power washer and it was AMAZING! Had my Jeep spotless in no time at all! So much power for just a little thing! Works better than our heavy duty gas powered power washer!

Great pressure washer for washing vehicles.
Was really impressed with the compact size of this pressure washer. Out of the box there is some assembly required. It was easy, only needed a phillips screwdriver to put two screws in the handle. The two side pieces just push down onto a sleeve. These are for holding the power cord on one side and the wand on the other. Assemble the wand, attach the pressure hose, attach the garden hose, then plug in and you are ready to work. I washed my motorcycle that was covered in bugs from several rides. This pressure washer removed the bugs (dried on) without having to scrub at all. It does come with a soap dispenser that I didn't use because they recommend a specific soap that doesn't come with the unit. This unit has just the right amount of pressure to wash your vehicles without damaging the paint. I definitely recommend it.

Powerful enough for my home use.
This small pressure washer by Stanley model number 1600 is very easy to handle seeing as its smaller and is very effective for my needs. Its very easy to set up for the first time what with just having to slide on the cord holder & the spray gun holster onto the unit. The handle`s attached by 2 screws and the soap dispenser bottle is stored on the unit when not in use. Garden hose pipe is attached to the front of unit. It has a very long cord length (35 ft) so this can reach my driveway to clean off the car. I tried this pressure washer out cleaning my huge outdoor garbage can that my garden hose can never clean inside properly, it made quick work of the job, with the convenience of the adjustable twist nozzle i was able to clean a small upper window at the same time! I live out in the Texas countryside so this will help me clean the pollen off my siding too. I had no issues with this pressure washer and its small size makes it easier for me to handle and store away.

Good Light-duty Pressure Washer; Great for Women
The Stanley is the entry-level pressure washer available for homeowners. It's not meant to replace your old commercial-grade or professional pressure washer, so it's not fair to blame it when it doesn't perform like it. It's meant to be a lighter-duty cleanup tool, in my mind, for the kinds of tasks you do a couple of times a year. Power-washing your deck at the beginning or end of the season, as well as the deck furniture, cleaning out your gutters, or washing down your siding. If you haven't power-washed your deck since you built it, you may be asking a bit much of this little guy. Buy the right tool for the job, not the least expensive. I've included a picture of what you get, right out of the box. The unit itself, plus all the guns and wands and bottles and whatnot you need to get going. Assembly is really easy, and shouldn't take you even five minutes. I live in a partially-underground house, so I have several 6'-10' concrete block retainer walls surrounding my house, all painted white. This was the initial task I wanted to try out with this pressure washer. I'm embarrassed to say that these retainer walls have not been cleaned since the last time they were painted, about 15 years ago. As you might expected, there's quite a variety of black-colored moldy patches, highlighted by areas of green moldy whatever. I'm not a scientist, so I don't know the technical names for this stuff. The first thing I needed to do was decide what to use to clean my sample wall. I decided to try pressure-washing with plain water first, just to see what it would do. I hooked the unit up, and got to work. The first thing you should be aware of is that this unit does not have wheels. Each time you reach the limit of your hoses, you'll have to pick the unit up and move it yourself to the adjacent area. Having said that, the hose on the unit is 20' long, so that does give you quite a bit of room to work with. The unit itself is pretty lightweight, a little over 15 lbs., so it's not actually a strain for you to move, just a little annoying. The unit is electric, so outdoor outlets will be a consideration for you, too. The power cord is 35' long, which I think is pretty generous. I didn't have any difficulty with distance from outlets, but might when I move to other sides of my house. The test with just plain water was fairly, but not completely, successful. It removed all of the dirt and mud, and most of the black and green yuck. However, the yuck had been there so long that I think it must have stained the paint. From a distance, it actually looked pretty good, certainly a night and day difference compared to the unwashed area. But closer up, you could still see black and green stains on the wall, so I did a second pass with detergent made to be used with a pressure washer. Good news and bad news. The black stains were almost (99%) gone with the detergent, but the green stains proved to be more stubborn. I'll need to consult Mr. Google, I guess, to see if there's a better solution for those. I will say that the Stanley has more than cleaned this wall enough for it to be primer and paint ready. I found two issues that I wish there were solutions to. The first is the size of the detergent bottle. It's tiny, about 14 oz., and will require frequent refills for large-scale or more lengthy jobs. Since you're going to have to stop frequently on jobs like that to move your unit, I guess the best thing would be to schedule your refills then, too. Also, I have some issues with grip strength in my hands, so you may not find this to be true for you. The wand has a pistol grip, and you have to continuously depress the trigger to keep the water flowing. I understand the need for this, but I found it to grow more and more uncomfortable, the longer I used the unit. I switched hands and stopped more frequently because of it. If you're considering buying the Stanley 1600, be sure to evaluate the kinds of tasks you're planning to challenge it with. It's perfect for my needs, because I don't have many more jobs for it that those I've discussed here. IF you're doing a complete reno on your home, or you live in a climate that must be fought and mastered, then you might need to step up to a larger, more powerful unit. I have always liked Stanley tools, and this one is just right for me. My hope is that it will also meet the expectation I have for Stanley tools to be long-lasting, as well as a good value for the money.

This compact pressure washer is powerful!
This compact pressure washer packs a powerful punch. It delivers 1,600 psi of adjustable power. I live in the desert, so there is always dirt on something. This pressure washer has cleaned my fence, patio furniture, siding and outdoor equipment without any issues. It effectively cleaned everything quickly and easily. The 20' flexible hose is a great length, along with the 35' power cord. It delivers 1.3 gallons per minute, and is also equipped with a total stop system, which has worked flawlessly for me. It also comes with a limited 2 year warranty, which makes me very happy. Overall, this is a fantastic compact pressure washer and I highly recommend it.

Stanley 1600 is powerful and easy to use
This electric pressure is easy to assemble min. hook up is a dream to use compared to the gasoline version that my husband has used in the past. For small jobs or even big jobs around the house this is so easy that I can get it out and get the job done myself without the ordeal of the big one. My husband was amazed at the power of this unit. It is portable and with a 20' pressure hose and a 35' power cord it is a perfect way for me to clean. I was really impressed with cleaning the wheels on my car they were filthy brown, black dirt that I dreaded having to clean this pressure washer with water alone made them spotless. I haven't had the need to use detergent as the water alone has done a great job. From cleaning the sidewalk around house to the pool deck area it is powerful enough to clean very well. Runs way quieter than other units that I hear in the neighborhood. Takes up a small space for storage and lightweight enough to carry (as it does not have wheels). I love that I can get this out and tackle the cleaning jobs around the house myself. Excellent pressure washer by a reputable company. I definitely recommend.
