We bought these for our 2 year old twins. When they came the color was prettier then it looked in the picture. The style is definitly some thing they can stay in through their collage years. The set up was easy and fast it didn't take us long at all to get the beds set up. We have them as two seperate twin beds right now. The only thing is not everything was labled however it was easy to figure out. If you plan to do the seperate beds just make sure you do a tall head board to a short foot board for each bed. If your putting them as buck beds right away then do both of the taller head/foot boards on the bottom buck; the directions don't specify that there is a difference when doing two seperate beds or buck beds. We ended up doing the mattresses from Sams Club the are Serta and for buck beds they fit well and the boys sleep much better through the night.

Excellent value
We purchased this bunk bed to replace a twin over full that was too large. The shipment arrived days ahead of expected shipping date. All the parts were present and easily labeled. My husband and I assembled it in about 2 1/2 hrs....we made one mistake which required backing up a couple steps. I think it was more our mistake, though the directions might have highlighted the importance of which long beams should be in front to allow attachment of the ladder. So watch that section! The girls love it. The wood is a little soft and will likely need touch up occasionally to maintain the finish. It will only support 165#...we assume that means when it is in the bunk position. For the money, it is a lovely bunk bed and there are book shelves at Walmart that coordinate very nicely. We would definitely buy from Walmart again.

    This color gray is gorgeous in person, I read all the reviews and was going to order on amazon but the shipping was cheaper with Walmart even though its free shipping don't forger there is a charge because its a heavy item. Me and my brother in law built the bed with not a single problem everything was labeled but I cant understand some reviews saying the instructions were hard to understand, I thought they were pretty easy and straight to the point. All the nuts and bolts came in numbered baggies, the holes for the slats are tricky dont skip them do each one by one from bottom to top THEY WILL FIT the black band is meant to stretch just enough to let you screw the screws in, we used a drill for this step even though it said screwdriver. No one has time for that. Be careful and dont apply too much pressure the wood isnt that great. It took us an hour and half to build just because we double checked everything. Honestly it came out gorgeous and I am happy its not a humongous piece of furniture because this is why I chose this bed it looks big but small at the small time. I love it, the entire half of my kids room is empty now for playing etc. NOW my only complaint is for some reason I am nervous maybe its just me the bed connects by 4 long metal rods and thats it, I feel like its a bit shaky otherwise the bed as two twins are strong and do not move whatsoever. Overall I'd highly recommend!

    Great Bunkbeds
    Bought this set for my niece and nephew - and it turned out great. Easy to assemble. Very high quality, I bought the matching dresser also. I had looked at similar bunkbeds at other retailers but went with the storkcraft model due to the excellent reviews and the grey color. I was not disappointed.

    Outstanding buy and very sturdy
    This bed is much nicer than I expected given the price. The directions were easy to follow, but I did this by myself. It would have been so much easier with two people. The only issue I have is that I tried to purchase this bed in another color, and when it was cancelled and I re-ordered, it was $30 more than original order was.

    Awesome bed!
    So I researched, and read all the reviews on this bed and it did not disappoint! My husband had this bed put together in less than 3 hours (by himself) He said directions were EASY. After he got it together we both were completely happy with it! The kids (ages 5, and 3) love it and we bought a dresser that was Storkcraft Cherry (to match the bed) and it was a different style name (Beatrice) and it matches PERFECTLY. The only negative I have with this bed is that each piece is labeled with a sticker letter to help while putting together and they are very stubborn to come off. Other than that GREAT BUY GREAT BED.

    Great bunk beds
    These are great looking bunk beds. We got them for our 5 year old (top bunk) and our 20 month old daughter. They are sturdy, they do not wiggle if you try to shake them, and I like how you only use a mattress with them and no box springs. The bottom bed has a good amount of space from the bottom of it to the floor for ample storage, while at the same time not being too high to hurt our toddler if she should fall out of the bed. We just had to get a little stepstool that stays next to the bed for her to get in and out of it, and it is working great. The kids love their beds, and we love the way they look and how sturdy they are. All pieces came in great shape as well. Eventually when we have the space, we plan to convert them to two separate twin beds.

    Challenging setup, but solid bed!
    Setup took two hours by myself, which was pain. I definitely recommend having a friend help! I set it up as separate beds, and my boys love it! Solid wood, low to the floor (definitely meant for smaller kids). Get an allen drill bit and a cordless drill, or set up will take hours by hand. This is solid, quality furniture that I see my boys using for the next few years. Hated the setup, but love the end product. I highly recommend!!

    Beautiful Bunkbeds
    Nice and sturdy. However, Storkcraft told me the ladder did not attach to the railings, but it does. I wanted to use the beds separately, one with railings like a toddler bed. My husband had to improvise a little with one of the supports, but it works.

    Well made bunkbeds!
    My husband and I purchased these bunkbeds after loads of research. We thought these were the best looking bunkbeds for the price. We were not disappointed. The Stork Craft brand gave us assurance that they would be good quality. They are very sturdy! They have so many slats under each mattress that everything seems so secure. Our kids are 3 and 2 so we appreciated that they were not as tall as some and were not bothered that the spacing between the beds was not as big as other sets. Overall, we are very pleased!
