Stay with Quality
I owned a Toshiba laptop previously and it lasted seven years with perfect performance. That is the reason I chose another Toshiba laptop. It is once again proving to me that it is a quality product. I am presently using it for study, work, games and communication with family. I highly recommend Toshiba to everyone.

No..
Sadly I was really hoping this would work perfect, I got it for my fiancé for Christmas. I started it up to get it ready to use and it turns out it won't charge. I have had him try it at different plugs and places and it won't. They said it could be a motherboard problem but it's definitely something... And to pay 422 dollars for something that doesn't work... Sucks... And worse Broke his heart cause it was his first laptop. I'm taking it back to Walmart when I get back from my work trip and also the packaging was very bad. It was literally the computer box and it had holes in it. Will not but electronics online from here again.

    Good Buy
It was easy to setup. Windows 10 is very different, however, I am figuring it out very quickly and not as bad as I heard about. Also, installed Microsoft Office 16 that I purchased with it, with no issues. The speed is pretty good for the things I need it for. I have an old Dell (2008) Intel dual core that still works fairly well, except for the speed. I love my Dell, but didn't want to invest the money this time. For the cost I think this is a good laptop. The top of the laptop cover does look cheap and made with cheap plastic, but I can get over it. However, just from a few uses your fingerprints does stay. So I clean it often, but again it's a little annoying, but not a deal breaker for the cost and the plus side is the speed is pretty good and I use multiple applications and change pages and it keeps up with very little lag, if any. The 17' screen makes the other issues seem minor. Also, I love having a separate side 10-key pad. You can't have it all for $400 bucks - -otherwise, to get everything we want we have to pay for it and I don't need a $800 and up laptop anymore. Overall, I am very pleased and happy with my purchase.

    Don't order this online
Do not order this online and have it shipped to yjr house, I ordered this for my mother and it came broken. I had to take it to a store to get it exchanged. Just go to a store and buy a laptop.

    Great product for the price.
My last computer crashed and I needed a new one right away. After doing some research, I found this laptop. I've had it for several weeks now and haven't had any problems. The only downside for me is that it does not feel as sturdy as my last one, however, it is still a great computer. It's very fast and easy to set up. I had no problems transferring my files and programs to it. If you are planning on transporting your laptop ofteb, I would not suggest this one because it is pretty big, but not heavy. It comes with tons of storage, 3 USB ports, and disk player. I'm a college student that wanted a new desktop replacement laptop. This Toshiba laptop was a great purchase. I also purchased the extended warranty. Other places were charging $250 or more for a warranty but this one was only $50 for the same coverage period.

A Great Laptop for the Money
I am a senior citizen and far from a computer expert, but this laptop was really easy to set up. Just follow the on screen instructions and the laptop is up and running. I love the 17.3" screen. This screen is also clear and the images are crisp. It will be a while before I actually figure out all of the amenities of this laptop, but so far, it is fast, fun, and easy to use and navigate.

    NOT TOO SHABBY WALMART!
This computer is pretty simple. Not too difficult to set up and get going. The screen resolution is clear and large. I wanted a normal size screen and this one did not disappoint. Even for being on the larger size its still pretty light weight. Im still getting used to windows 10. the preinstalled tutorials are coming in handy. Im excited to get my Quicken up and running. Yay! Thanks Walmart for a great computer at an affordable price!

Product is great, shipping was a problem
This laptop is exactly what I was looking for. The only complaint that I have is that the shipping tracker wasn't able to tell me where it was. The site stated I would receive it on a Thursday and it didn't show up until 7pm Friday. I was concerned.

First Toshiba AND will be MY LAST!
MY Prior to buying this Toshiba, I had owned three Hp laptops, two of which literally fell apart. The second Hp fell apart multiple times within the first year due to repeated hardware failures. The third Hp laptop after only six months began to experience the same failures and even the in-home technician admitted the hardware failures shouldn't have been happening as they were when he arrived to replace the keyboard a third time. So on the recommendation of a friend I decided to try a Toshiba. I have had this Toshiba for about a week now I guess? Well It has only taken a week or so and the monitor section is already becoming wobbly after opening the lid only a handful of times. The entire laptop is made from a very, and I do mean very cheap plastic. Toshiba must've scraped the bottom of the barrel to find the cheapest plastic they could find to construct this laptop. The only saving grace that I can see when it comes to this laptop, is that comes with an AMD quadcore processor and the ability to upgrade the memory to 16gbs of memory; not to mention the screen is actually nice. The battery power on the laptop sucks, as do the speakers. If I want to hear anything decent out of it then I have to plug in my SAMSUNG STEREO headphones from my Galaxy S6 to be able to hear anything decent when watching anything. I am also disappointed that Windows 10 sucks out so much memory. Not to mention I am still disappointed computer makers are still letting Synaptics construct and design the trackpads for people considering the known problems people have with the trackpad. I am not rough nor do I mistreat my electronics in any fashion. I also do not allow other people to use my things as to ensure my personal things do not get damaged. This laptop however was not bought for gaming, simply for me to do some writing on but I was more than surprised by its graphics potential which as I said is its only saving grace. If you are looking for a better quality made laptop, I highly advise you choose a Dell or perhaps a Lenovo. Do not choose Toshiba. This has not left a very good impression on me. For the same price I could've gotten an Hp made out of better quality material and just taken another chance on getting another lemon or actually getting a decent laptop this time. I am also still within my thirty days so I may even still return it since I still have the box. Just be forewarned. If I do return it, I'll be getting a Dell most likely or a Lenovo if they sell any, or I may just do without and save up, call it a day and get a Mac.
