Cute but wish it had more features
I bought playtable from Vtech for my baby before and it was great. So I had high hopes for this item. This is a cute, portable toy that you can easily transport from one place to another. However, my 16 month old quickly got bored. I wish that they added a little more features to this toy as I would take this when we are going on road trip and such. The design is cute and friendly for kids.

    Good for younger kids as their 1st laptop
    This toy is good but doesn't have many features. My 2 year old daughter is already operating ipad and she didn't find this interesting enough. As other reviewers said, this would be good for younger kids, probably 6-18months or 24months old as their first laptop.

    Good value for 1st laptop
    I think this laptop is great for first time techies! :) My 1 yr old niece seemed to like playing with it and carried it around like a little suitcase. The casing seems to be durable too. The only feedback I would give is that this laptop does not come with a lot of features but for the price, you really can't beat it. Would recommend!

    Surprised and how much my 6 month loved this toy
    My 6 month old loves this toy! Typically, we cycle through toys pretty quickly, my daughter gets bored pretty easily and is always on to the next thing. This laptop, with the sounds, flashing lights, ability to open and close keeps her entertained and happy. She seems to enjoy this toy more than many of the other toys we recently purchased, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much this one stuck.

    Decent toy for baby
    My 6-month old enjoys this toy but mainly because she can open and close the laptop. The flashing lights and buttons will probably be a good feature as she gets older. The laptop is very durable as it has been dropped and banged around a few times and there haven't been any issues with it and doesn't even looked scratched up. I would recommend this toy to alternate with other toys as it's very compact and is easy to clean.

    Our little girl can't get enough of this toy!
    I was originally hesitant to let our 11 month old daughter play with electronics but this toy has changed my mind. She loves this laptop and it age appropriate now and I also think she will be able to grow with it. It is interactive enough to teach a few things, and when the laptop plays songs, our daughter goes wild. Great toy! Highly recommended.

    Nice but lacks of learning features
    We have few vtech toys in our home and we love them all but I must say that we didn't like much this toy. This baby laptop is intended for babies and toddlers from 6 to 36 months and we think that the age range is a bit of a stretch considering that nowadays toddlers are getting really smarter, faster. Our daughter is almost 3 and there was no challenging learning feature for her in this laptop and she soon got bored. The only feature which made her giggle is the peek-a-boo one but just for few times. She loves her Mobigo 2 from the same brand and we like that it's challenging for her and we like the learning games. This one didn't make the cut for us because of the age of our daughter. Now, if you think about purchasing this toy for a 6 to 24 months old girl, she might love it and might learn few things while playing with it. I believe that the younger the recipient of this toy is, the longer she will be playing with it: there are lights, a child voice which says sentences, words and asks questions and few music tunes. This item could be improved adding more numbers to learn and maybe an ABCs feature. We would recommend this product but only for 6 to 24 months old girls.
