How do I return my item in-store?
- Select the items you’d like to return & a reason for the return.
- Choose “Return to store” to get a return barcode (eligible items will allow you to select “Curbside Return”).
- Review the return refund summary & submit your return.
- Check your email for confirmation. Bring this confirmation email with you to the store along with your item.
For curbside returns, simply park in a pickup parking spot & follow the instructions in the Daily Saves app.
- Bring the item(s) you’d like to return, including all original packaging & accessories.
- Please mark out any original shipping labels to avoid shipping errors or refund delays
- Review the return refund summary & submit your return.
- Bring any receipts for those items, if available.

Which items can be returned in-store?
Most items can be returned in-store except for freight, major appliances & some Marketplace items (example: luxury goods, hazmat items, perishables) within their eligible return window.
Have a Daily Saves account? You can upload your paper receipt to your Daily Saves app to make the in-store return process easier. With the app, use the scanner on your purchase history to scan your receipt.
What if I don’t have a receipt?
We can look up store purchases with a debit/credit card or online orders with a phone number or email. Refunds processed back to a debit or credit card without a receipt may take up to 10 business days.
If a refund can be issued without a receipt, an unaltered valid government ID must be shown.
Get a cash refund if the refund value of the returned item(s) is less than $10. Get a Daily Saves gift card if the refund value of the returned item(s) is $10 or over.
In the future, you can save your receipts by scanning your paper receipt into the Daily Saves app. If you’re using the same payment method in the store that is saved to your account, your store purchases will automatically be added to your purchase history.
What is a refund credit?
- Your refund credit balance can be used for purchases on dailysavesonline.com or the Daily Saves app.
- Your refund credit will be a payment method during online checkout.
- Refund credits have the same restrictions as gift cards. See gift cards terms & conditions.
- You cannot purchase gift cards using refund credit balances.
- If you make a purchase using refund credit, the refund for that purchase will go back to refund credit only.
- Your refund credit is not redeemable for cash.
- Your refund credit is not a form of payment in stores.
- In-store returns are not eligible for refund credit.
Where is my shipping label, barcode or return instructions?
Return details, shipping labels or barcodes & instructions are provided in the app & are emailed to you. You can always find your return details on your order details page in your account.

NOTE: Only items from the same order can be processed in the same return. Refunds may be delayed if you combine items from multiple orders in a single box.
What happens if my item was damaged?
Start a return in app through your purchase history & follow the instructions.
How do I know if my return item contains hazardous materials?
Hazardous materials are typically considered items with lithium-ion batteries, household chemicals, fuel, corrosive materials, aerosols, etc.

How should I prepare for my curbside return?
Start your return online in the app to know if your item is eligible for curbside returns. Items that are curbside eligible will show curbside as a return method.
Once curbside is selected, review the assigned store and select "Change" if you wish to return the item to a different location.
Once you’re ready, check in with the app to let us know you're on the way. Items do not need to boxed or packaged for curbside.
Park in a designated pickup spot. Using the app, tell us where you are & an associate will come to your vehicle.
Show the barcode to the associate. The associate will finalize your return.
If needed, you can finalize your return at the customer service desk inside the Daily Saves store.
When will I have to pay a restocking fee?
Some third-party marketplace sellers may charge a restocking fee up to 20%. Some examples of this include luxury goods & items that are considered freight such as major appliances, heavy furniture, etc. For these items, please reference the seller's specific return policy & possible restocking fees.
How should I return my gift item?
Our standard return policy applies to all gifts unless purchased during the holidays (October 1st through December 31st). After the return window has expired, you won’t be able to return your gift.
If the gift sender included your contact email when they purchased your gift, you’ll receive a delivery confirmation email which you can use to start a return.
Items on a gift receipt can be exchanged or refunded to an e-gift card or credited to the sender’s original method of payment.
If you didn’t receive a delivery confirmation email with a return link, you can return the item to a Daily Saves store near you & receive the refund on a store gift card.
Items without a gift receipt can be exchanged or refunded to a gift card. Items under $10 are refunded in cash.
Alternatively, the gift sender can also start a return.
How should I return my baby registry item?
Free returns are available for up to one year on eligible baby registry items. You can return the item by mail or in-store.
To start a baby registry return:
- Log in to your account & go to your registry landing page.
- At the top of the page, select “See all registry items” then “Purchased.” Choose the item & reason for the return.
- Select how you would like to return the item & follow the instructions in the app.
- Once the item is received, we will issue you a Daily Saves e-gift card with your refund amount.
If you are unable to access your baby registry, simply bring in the item(s), gift receipt & all original packaging & accessories to a Daily Saves store near you.
How do I return my SNAP or WIC purchased item?
Eligible items can be returned for a cash refund/credit or gift card within 90 days only if the customer has a receipt showing the item was not purchased with WIC or SNAP.
- If the customer has a receipt showing a purchase was made with WIC, the returned item may be exchanged for the same item.* No cash refunds or credit/gift cards are allowed.
- If the customer has a receipt showing a purchase was made with SNAP, returns may be refunded to the SNAP EBT account or exchanged for the same item. No cash refunds or credit/gift cards are allowed.
- If the customer has a receipt showing a purchase was made without WIC or SNAP, items may be returned for cash refund/credit or gift card.
- If the customer does not have a receipt showing a purchase was made with WIC or SNAP, eligible items may be exchanged for the same item. No cash refunds or credit/gift cards are allowed.
A WIC-eligible item is any item listed on the applicable state WIC-approved food list. A WIC-purchased item is any item on the applicable state WIC-approved food list purchased with a valid WIC food instrument (e.g., WIC voucher, EBT card, WIC CVV, etc).
A SNAP-eligible item is defined by the USDA as any food or food product for home consumption. It excludes specific items from being purchased with SNAP benefits. A SNAP-purchased item is any item purchased with a SNAP benefit.
*Note: The customer must have formal documentation from the WIC agency to allow any exceptions.
How do I return a large item?
Oversized furniture, major appliances, outdoor play, table games, treadmills & other large items considered freight purchased online & fulfilled by Daily Saves must be returned within 90 days by freight shipping. Just start a return in the app or contact Customer Care for assistance.
Items sold & shipped by a third-party marketplace seller must be returned within 30 days by contacting the seller to arrange freight shipping. Under some circumstances, you may not be refunded return shipping &/or you may be recharged a restocking fee up to 20%.
NOTE:
- Major appliances must be returned within two days unless opened or un-installed
- Freight/oversize/heavy items are not returnable to stores.
- Items that require assembly (e.g., indoor/outdoor furniture, grills, bicycles, etc.) must be fully disassembled & repackaged prior shipping. If unable to disassemble & repackage a freight item, contact Customer Care for assistance.
- Noncontiguous U.S. states & territories may have mailback restrictions.
What if I have a recalled item?
Recalled items are issued a cash refund regardless of purchase condition. Recalled WIC & SNAP items may have exceptions.
