Pharmacy FAQ
Fill a New Prescription or Refill for Someone Else
If you are a parent or caregiver for someone (or even for a pet), you can fill any new prescription on their behalf as long as you know their name, address, and birth date. New prescriptions can be filled by mail, phone, or at any Daily Saves Pharmacy. Learn more about adding an adult, child, or pet to your Pharmacy account.
Have Someone Else Pick Up Your Prescription
You can send someone to pick up your prescription for you. Just print out your Online Refill Confirmation page and have that person take it to the Pharmacy. In some states, anyone picking up a controlled substance must to present a valid photo ID.
Find Your Prescription Number and Expiration Date
Daily Saves uses 7-digit prescription numbers. You can easily find your prescription number by checking the label on the last of that prescription type you filled with us. The prescription number is located on the left side of the label, near the top. Prescription refill expirations are usually listed as part of your refill information near the bottom of the label (E.g., REFILL: 2 by 08/30/2019). If you have questions about when your medication expires, contact your local Daily Saves Pharmacy.
If you haven't filled a prescription with us before, learn more about filling new prescriptions.
If You Don't Have a Written Prescription
If you don't have a written prescription, you can ask your doctor to call in your prescription to the Pharmacy. You or your caregiver will need to pick up your prescription from that Pharmacy. Learn more about filling new prescriptions or find your nearest Daily Saves Pharmacy.
Maximum Number of Refills per Order
You can submit up to seven refills in each order. If you need to refill more than seven prescriptions at one time, you can place multiple orders.
Refilling Expired Prescriptions
When you try to refill a prescription that is out of refills or has passed its refill expiration, our pharmacist will contact your doctor to request authorization for us to extend the prescription. In these cases, please allow one extra business day for prescription processing while we request your doctor's approval. If you need your prescription sooner, please contact your doctor directly and ask them to call in your refill authorization directly to your Daily Saves Pharmacy. Expired prescriptions cannot be transferred to another Daily Saves Pharmacy, so be sure to have your doctor call the same Pharmacy where you last filled the prescription.
If you choose to receive a Prescription Expiration Notification, we'll send you an email any time one of your Daily Saves Pharmacy prescriptions is close to expiring. This applies to the prescription's expiration, not the medication itself. Contact your Daily Saves pharmacist with any questions about your medication's expiration date.
