4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/31/2020Great unit but.......this huge portable unit works perfect but its too big. I am using it for a popup camper and it takes up too much room, and it barely fits thru my camper door. But it does put out the cold air! Really nicely too. it cools off my camper in no time -especially in shady areas. in full sun, it takes more time and not as cold; but its still much much cooler than outside. i can get it down to a cool 72 in no time, as long as my camper windows have solar panels. i dont like the slats (vents) only turn up/down and not side to side. Air can therefore be only directed either up toward ceiling or down toward floor. Thats it. i dont like how the exhaust hose attaches to back of unit- i came back to a furnace one day because it came unattached. Hot air was just flowing into my camper. I wish this hose was insulated too- as the heat from exhaust hose just radiates from the hose making it hotter in camper. The evaporative water drain hose they supply is FAR too short, so much so i had to go buy more. And i didnt know exactly the correct sz, so i ended up buying wrong sz hose (in diameter) and it would not clamp on back of unit. i tried macguyvering this (too small) hose i bought and it ended up leaking water, not alot but enough to ruin my camper had i not caught it in time. my pictures show how i vented the hose out of my popup camper, other one shows it sitting on the bed of my popup camper. its a great unit mechanically - design wise it needs tweaking.lynnmarie0123

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/31/2020Dissatisfied with handling and delivery.Delivery method is terrible. The delivery giy is lazy. Box upside down when left outside the door, box has two big holes on the sides, top, and bottom, apparently dragged and dropped, qnd punched by hard objects on the side. Product still works okay, hopefully it will last with all the manhandling it took.Edgar

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/23/2020Global Air YPL3-10C - 6,500-BTU (10,000 BTWe live within the California heat wave over 100 degree and the Yolo, Sonoma, Solano counties wild fire region. My son who has heart and respitory defects, had a difficult time breathing with the home AC unit. Smoke and particles from the fire residue floating in the air were sucked into the home. I was searching for something to filter our home indoor air; while depended on an ocillating fan. I was not sure about the portable AC unit, but I took a chance and ordered it. It was a quick delivery that delivered on date given; as promised. Best action I took. Setup is quick "snap", the window exhaust setup is simple. 5 inch tall fit right into the window tract and extends acroos the window base. After plugging the Global Air YPL3-10C - 6,500-BTU (10,000 BT unit, I waited 5 minutes before turning on the portable AC unit. Within an hour we felt the cool air circulate the front room and small dinning area. I closed up all doors in the hallway so the cool air remains where I hope it would reach; my son's room. We live in a 3 bedroom unit. With help of a fan, the cool air did travel the hallway to his room. I am happy with this purchase and recommend it , especially if there is a senior or disable person living in conditions of high temperature heat and wild fire residue; or if there is no AC in the residence. A friend with asthma saw this unit and has ordered their indoor Global Air YPL3-10C - 6,500-BTU (10,000 BT.RockingNana
