Great value
For a small sound bar the sound is fantastic. I didn't want the hassle of installing a 5.1 system and this was a good alternative. Installation was simple and setup fairly easy. One thing that would make the system better is an on screen menu. The lights on the front are a little confusing and hard to see from a distance.

Great Sound Bar . . . Unless you have an LG TV....
I bought this to go with my LG 42" TV. When I hooked it up using the optical cable, there was no sound. Suspecting a bad cable, I swapped it out but still no sound. I took the sound bar to my living room Vizio and it worked perfectly. Ah-Ha, it mus the the optical out on the TV that is bad! I carried the LG TV to the living room and hooked it via optical cable to my AV receiver. Lo and behold the TV produced sound! I spoke at length with Vizio tech support and he concluded that the problem was the LG TV and gave me their customer support number. In talking with them, they said since it could output sound to the AV Receiver, the TV was fine . . . it was Vizio's fault! I returned the Vizio sound bar to Walmart and ordered an LG sound bar. That one worked just fine! Bottom line, the Vizio is a good sound bar unless you have my LG TV model!!!

    Great sounding and looking sound bar
    Price, appearance, and sound were all factors in my purchase of a sound bar for the new 32" TV I had just purchased for the bedroom. This VIZIO sound bar hit all three points very well. I love its ultra-simplistic, clean look. Once I enabled DTS TruVolume and DTS TruSurround, and pushed the Treble setting all the way up, this bar sounded wonderful in my room. Handles booming action movie volumes very well, yet translate the quietest audio faithfully and clearly. Contrary to what many reviews and YouTube tutorials state, a wall mounting template is indeed included. I didn't wall mount, though. The unit has low-profile rubberized pads on the bottom, so that it sits comfortably and firmly on a surface just below the TV, and stays put. Connect via optical, for the best sound possible.

    Sound for bedroom flat screen
    I got this one for a TV in a TV amour that had the old tube cut-out in the back. Flat screen speakers are pointed down and send a lot of sound thru the wall into the next room. Noise complaints were resolved and I can actually hear the TV at low volumes. Vizio 29" is much better than the $49 sound bars and worth the upcharge especially with cables included. You can even add a sub-woofer if you want. I got a H*** D**** invisible shelf for $10 to elevate the TV 2 inches to make everything work.

    Good product for the money
    I bought this for a 32" tv. Sound in the new very thin tvs is not good. This sound bar really improved the clarity and sound. Everything sounds better, music, voice, etc. Worth every penny and very easy to set up.

    Very Happy with my purchase
    Very SIMPLE to hook up, just two cords, the power cord to your wall socket or extension cord and the cable that goes from the sound bar to the ttelly,Vizio provides all three different hook ups. You choose the one that works with your ttelly. In a matter of minutes it was working. The only thing I had to do extra was shut off the TV speaker and you get booming sound better than your telly speaker that is for sure. Is it the best bar out there heck no BUT its a GREAT buy for under one hundred bucks and you don't have to buy any additional cables to hook it up. They even throw in 2 Duracell Batteries for the remote. You can't go wrong if you want to better your listening pleasure

    Good enough for a small room
    For the price this sound bar isn't bad, but not great either. I realized after I got it home I should have spent a little more money and got a longer bar with a sub woofer. My 55 inch Vizio has had abysmal sound that I have been really unsatisfied with since I bought it and hoped this bar would make it more tolerable. It is definitely better, but I'm using it in a very large family room. On some shows the sound is pretty decent and on others not so good. The quality of the sound coming from the audio source definitely makes a major difference. For example, sound was excellent from a blu-ray movie and some tv shows. In a small bedroom or other small room I think this would work better, just don't get your hopes up too high. You generally get what you pay for and this is a fairly cheap sound bar really suited for a smaller television that you will be sitting closer to watch it and hear it.

    Excellent sound in a great size package.
    It was easy to set up and the sound filled the room immediately. We bought this for our bedroom because we were tired of the weak TV speakers. This little bar has rich and deep sound. Movies sounds pop and dialogue is all nice and clear. We have a 12 year old Bose Lifestyle system in our TV room, if it dies I will replace that with this sound bar.

    VIZIO 2.0 Sound Bar
    I bought this speaker to go with my 43" Vizio TV. The unit came with most all of the cables that you could possibly think of needing to hook up to my TV. There was even a Digital Audio jack in the package. The directions were easy to follow. The speaker comes with its own remote but works with my existing TV remote. Once I set the volume on the speaker I am able to control the volume by using the TV remote. There are a couple different sound settings that you can try and also you can adjust the bass and treble on the speaker for just the right sound. This speaker does not come with a sub-woofer. I would highly recommend this speaker to those who are not happy with the sound coming from the speakers in their TVs and are looking for a better sound quality.
