a few problems with sound stability
oscillating soound level with some broadcast (comcast cable input) even when a satisfactory setting is obtained there is no guarantee that the oscillation will return on channel change When sound level is ok the surround sound is verry good. No problem with Netflex, etc.input just with the cable thru tv

    Sounds Great
    Bought this unit a month ago and so far it has performed well. I had no trouble hooking it to my Vizio TV using the optical cable. Did have to set the TV sound output to PCM, as mentioned in the instructions on page 8. I pickup off-the- air TV stations and the sound was distorted on some of them until I used the PCM setting. The 5.1 sound system is awsome. I liked the fact that all the necessary cables and batteries were supplied with the unit. The instructions are clear and if you follow them the hook-up and operation should be easy.

    VIZIO 38' SOUND BAR SYSTEM
    My son FINALLY set my speakers up. LOVE....LOVE....LOVE this setup. At my age cranking up the volume was the only way to hear the tv. Everyone complained about my deafness. With this I had to turn sound down. Understand the words they are saying, turned off closed captioning. Never knew what I was missing. Thanks to VIZIO I was able to afford this. Now my sons want one for Christmas. Love this THANK YOU VIZIO!!

    Great system!
    This sound bar system replaced a bunch of older equipment for me, and really cleaned up the space. The connections were straight forward, plenty of wire included in the cables for the satellite speakers, and the sound bar pairs with the subwoofer beautifully and reliably. Still getting used to the controls, but am very pleased to see in the instructions that the tones, volumes, and balances will be completely adjustable. A great deal, and Walmart made it much sweeter with free in-store pick up delivery.

    What Sound!!
    I bought this with some hesitation but after a few minutes it was hooked up and on. I am a bass lover and the sub-woofer delivers. I am so glad I took the plunge into some fantastic sound.

    Vizio 38" 5.1 ch Sound Bar
    I did my research on this Vizio soundbar. My favorite thing to do is watch movies in surround sound and thought this perfect for me. I read all the reviews before purchasing this item as well. I did sight to store, so I picked this up at my Walmart. This works great, I love the surround sound, and I do not mind that the rear speakers plug in from across the room, (not completely wireless), This is better than having wires run across my living room floor. I have dogs and that would not work for me. This is a great set up.
