Are you sure this isn't brand new?
Even though it is a refurbished item it was scratch /dent free. Looked brand new. Hook up and install was done without a hitch. Upgraded to Windows 10 without any problems, This is my second refurb. from Wal-Mart (first was a gift) . No problems with either. Would do again.

Refurbished ?
I have purchased refurbished HP products from Walmart in the past and will do so again. this purchase was disappointing in that the computer did not function. would not power -up. I had to return it. I'm sure if the computer had worked I'd have been very pleased.

    Great machine
    I was somewhat reluctant to purchase a refurbished machine. However, after receiving my HP Black Pavilion, I must say I am very happy with the quality and condition of the machine.

    2 years to the day bought it dies
    Power supply, mother board and video card all burnt out at once. Never buy a hp product without getting the extended warranty

    Great value on a great computer
    I am very happy with this computer so far. Although refurbished, you would never know it, as it comes looking brand new right from the factory. Upgrading to Windows 10 was a challenge. I needed to use Microsoft's Media Creation Tool to upgrade, as doing it the regular way wouldn't work. I discovered surfing the internet swiftly has more to do with the speed of your computer and not so much your internet speed, and this computer is fast! It comes with a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse also. A good deal and great value from Walmart.

    This computer is fast. The keyboard does not show when the Capital Letters or the numbers are on; I'll get a new keyboard. Otherwise it's worthy.

    still getting use to the 8.1 but just love it, a lot of the features are new to me but loving the changes
