We've had a Wii for about 8 years, and this Christmas we finally upgraded to WiiU. We have an old box TV & I was pleased that my old Wii cords would work with the new WiiU & my old TV. I got pretty frustrated during the set up process that I had to create a Nintendo linking account before I could access my Amazon streaming service. It's a little more complicated than my old Wii as far as having accounts and letting devices share info. I'm too old & my children too young to appreciate those features fully, so when you're not really interested in them, it's a bit annoying to have to use them regardless. I really appreciate that all of our Wii games will also work on the WiiU. My kids are very excited to have this.

finally upgraded

Haven't opened the box yet this will be a Christmas gift. But I'm excited about it.  Wii seems to have the family in mind and some fun non violent games for everyone.  I've read up on it, it should be a nice addition to our home entertainment.

My adult daughter wanted the experience of playing the Zelda, Donkey Kong games again like she did years ago on the Nintendo system. She has really enjoyed the option of handheld or TV viewing/playing. It was easy to set up and the graphics are clear and bright. The system even arrived before expected so that was a bonus.

Lots of fun

Bought this bundle when it went on sale during Boxing Day and I'm very glad I did. If you're a fan of Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing and don't yet own a WiiU, I highly recommend this bundle. The additional characters and stages in Mario Kart 8 are well worth the price.
