    Quality I expected from Philips - great sound!
    On the plus side, this system was the quality and perfectly fit the scale and expectation of sound quality Ive come to expect from Philips. I purchased the system specifically because I love the reliability of their television and I wanted it to be issue free for compatibility, and it is. The design is sleek and the subwoofer provides just the right bass for television viewing - great for a bedroom or studio or smaller space. The only misinformation was that an HDMI connection will work - it will not, you must purchase a digital optic cable for it to work.

    Great Price @ $59 (but no bass)
    Nice looking unit. Easy to assemble. Be prepared as there are no inter-connecting cables included. Hooked mine up via optical. Unit detected the input right away and worked. Unfortunately there is very little bass presence. There are treble and bass adjustments via the remote and also a number of preset equalization. Just don't expect any full bass experience. Did not provide a good music experience or movie "rumble". Again at $59.00 it is OK, but... you may want to shop around.

    Decent sound
    Much better than tv sound. Has HDMI-ARC connection, but has several second delay while connecting to my Philips tv. Sub is not over powering. The one thing we do not like is the "feature" that puts the unit in standby if it is muted for 15 minutes, and you can not disable it. When I contacted Philips they claim its a power savings, but really how much could this unit really use. You have to wait several seconds for it to power up when it goes into standby. It you use this train of thought, why not turn the tv off after muted for 15 minutes. Does not make sense that the consumer cant turn it off. I have it connected via the HDMI-ARC, so the video is going thru to the tv, so why put it in standby ?? Very annoying. Overall good value for less than $60.

    Great purchase
    I purchased for my husbands Father's Day gift and he lovesssss it! We have a Sony smart tv and this sound bar is compatible with no issues. It's pretty loud and the subwoofer gives it some extra bass. Great product for the price

    Good budget sound bar
    Got last month only.Set up took less than 10 mins. I have connected via optical cable to my Samsung LED. It has boosted the sound quite a bit and clarity is excellent. You can't compare with high end sound bars but if you need the 3x boost and better quality than TV, this budget unit is perfect.
