The most convenient music player and radio!
This little music player sure has a lot going for it. First of all, it is a nice compact size, really about the size of a thumb drive, yet it does so much. There is 8 gb of internal storage so I was able to easily transfer a couple thousand songs over to it simply by plugging it into the USB port on my computer. This also will support up to 32 GB micro SD card, so I can easily include my entire music library. This is overall very simple and easy to use, though you will need a headset with a jack to plug into it for listening. Settings are super easy, press and hold to turn on, and then it will initialize and start playing my music. From there it is very easy to move between songs, or into the different modes. This is also a FM radio and it does a pretty good job of picking up all of my local stations clearly. I have not used the voice recorder, though that is another feature. It is there if I ever need it. I mainly got this for traveling this summer, it's a great size, with built in memory and easy to navigate through. I like that it takes a AAA battery, which is easy to change and no worries about having to find a way to recharge.

    AGPTEK USB 8G Stick MP3 Player
    Loved that it has 8 Gig of memory. It's replacing a 15-20 year old similar unit that only had 1 G (that one would hold 160 MP3s). The AAA lithium rechargeable batteries last a couple of weeks B4 I recharge them. It ALSO picks up FM stations (which is a Plus). I think I could drive cross-country with this, and never listen to the same song twice. (Are there /- 1250 "good" songs... we'll soon find out) I really like this thing....

    USB THUMB DRIVE / AUDIO PLAYER: Love this soft small lightweight easy little USB Thumb Drive Player with FM radio and digital MP3 file player that I bought a second one of these little wonders, for a backup and for company. For Christian FM radio or my digital Bible teaching audio MP3 files (I expect my music files to play too) by quick easy transfer from laptop via USB port, I tuck this little player into my clothes or plug it into a device or car speaker, for hands-free walking, errands, transportation, and home either speakers or earphones. NEEDS EARBUDS/HEADPHONES OR SPEAKER with either a USB port. or standard round 3.5mm AUX Input jack needing a male 3.5mm cable. Volume good, not need max, yet can still interact with others even if not pull one earbud out from ear. Accepts rechargeable AAA batteries. NimH weigh less than Alkaline. Higher maH last longer. I bring extra batteries for long outings; and in my car a small wall battery charger for cig-lighter plug-in electrial outlet. Walmart sells 3.5mm male AUX cables, some in pretty colors and long but I chose a short self-winding tension spool to hang neatly from car dashboard. If want more than the built in 8GB memory, Walmart sells easy slide-in MicroSD cards, that C/S and I think header not match description we expect max memory that can be added to this player's built in 8GB is a 32GB card--and that's a lot! I always buy Walmart Purchase Protection with electronics. RECAP: Need earphones or speaker with USB, or round 3.5mm AUX jack and male 3.5mm cable. Accepts rechargeable AAA batteries; NimH lighter; maH higher last longer. For more memory than 8GB built-in, buy an easy slide-in MicroSD card up to 32GB. Enjoy! :)

    Overall a great little MP3 player.
    The pros: Great sound quality. Fairly easy to switch between music albums and find the song you're looking for. The cons: No clip for jogging. Can only shuffle within selected album, not between all albums. I have to prop up my laptop to insert in USB so there's enough space between the table and the laptop. If the USB was turned upside down it would fit fine, because the battery compartment would be facing up away from the table. But, I'll give them a pass on that, because this was probably designed before laptops got so thin.

    Very useful and low priced portable MP3 player
    This is a nifty little gadget for playing MP3 on older entertainment systems that do not take USB thumb drives. It has a thumb drive also. You can also walk around with it and listen on corded ear buds. Plenty of memory built in for my needs. Only drawback (minor one) is that it runs on one AAA battery which doesn't last a long time (just replace it; big deal!).

    Excellent mini-MP3 player.
    Love this mini-MP3 player. I take this with me on my walks, listening to audiobooks and music, as it is a perfect size to slip inside a pocket, or in my solution, I have a small monocular case, that I slip it in, which is on my belt, where it is completely out of the way. I don't own a smartphone, so I wanted an MP3 player for my daily walks. The sound quality is outstanding. The battery life has been exceptional so far. I have around 12 hours of use on mine and the battery indicator is still showing 3/4 of a charge. The physical buttons seem to be of a good quality and the screen brightness is excellent. It is simple to load by simply plugging it into your PC, copy your MP3 files to it and the player indexes them automatically. If you keep your MP3s in folders, then you can access individual folders with its simple, internal folder browser. Note that it does not come with earphones of any sort and I ended up using over-the-ear headphones instead of earbuds as I can never keep earbuds in. This little player was definitely a value for my money.

    Not as useful as I had hoped.
    It's nearly impossible to navigate with this toy. The only real use is to load it with a few songs, and it will play them consecutively. Totally useless with hundreds of tunes, since you cannot access them easily at all, you must literally scroll thru the entire pile. Sound quality is excellent, and I was hoping it would navigate as well as my Sony Mp3 player, but it's not even close. Probably a good deal at a quarter of the price. I will rarely use this item.

    Guaranteed Years of Sounds With This Player!!!
    Best MP3 I have ever owned! I much prefer AAA-powered players rather than the internal-battery type as nothing is more frustrating than being in the middle of a yard mow and the battery dies. Even worse, since most of my outdoor activities take place in warmer months, I had some internal-battery players simply not power-up again after a four or 5 month lapse between charges. Not so with AAA-powered players. With this model, even Dollar Tree batteries go on forever. The USB port allows for easy loading/unloading of tunes, and there is plenty of room on this baby to pack a LOT of music on it. Not only is the sound great through headphones, but I have a nice Boze speaker for listening to music on my back porch. This model of player really delivers in all ways. My only complaint is the slight wonkiness of the slot on the back for loading/unloading the battery. It doesn't slide back in as easily as other models of other players I have used. This one's cover is a little more temperamental. It is MUCH more lightweight and less bulky than tucking a phone into workout/yard clothing and one doesn't have to worry about the phone dropping. Bluetooth is fine, but once again, the only failure I have to worry about with this unit is with the little AAA battery. When using this player, I have a tiny clip-on pouch containing unit and extra batteries. attached to my clothes, This is my second one of this particular model. The one I bought several years ago is still going strong! MP3 players are becoming more and more scarce, and even in their heyday, AAA-powered ones were harder to find. I got this second one to make sure I would be rockin' behind a lawnmower or listening to music with friends on my back porch for many years to come.
