i disliked that someone forgot to update the device i purchased so on att computers it showed up as unsold so they thought i stole it LUCKILY a very patient and intelligent representative answered my last call and was able to remove the suspension i had on my account because of a careless worker from the company, because now that it works i can say the device is awesome

Walmart fails to handle properly
There seems to be an on going issue with this and other items shipped from the warehouse of them failing to scan the point of sale bar code before shipping so once the item arrives it can't be activated for use. They really need to make sure int the future the warehouse workers handle electornics items like this properly. This item was supposed to have been shipped and received in 2 days. It sat at the warehouse for 2 days so it was not actually shipped until the day I was supposed to receive it so instead of being received in 2 days it was not received for 6 days. This has been a total mess from day one because of improper handling.

    so inconvenient
    i ordered this and it seemed like it would work good but unfortunately i will never know ...i should have read the reviews before purchasing ..it was not scanned out at the register properly so it wasnt marked as sold ..didnt realize it untill after i purchased the 55 dollar plan to go along with it . not working so i call att and they tell me take it back to walmart and get it scanned and it will work ..i go to walmart and they say they cant scan it so i am done at this point and never want to look at this device ever again in my life so i tell them i just want to return it ..i have proof i purchased in my walmart app ..they say its ringing up as non returnable . i then get ahold of walmart threw the app and the very nice lady helped get my return done . i bought this because it seemed very convenient ended up being very inconvenient..would be better to buy in store to make sure its scanned right rather then pickup delivery or probably even shipping ..not saying this isnt a good product because it could be ..me personally will never know

    BUYERS BEWARE!!! The device never works. AT%26T will say Walmart did not scan the device properly. Then Walmart will say they did. You will go in a big circle then still not have a working device. You will be out the money and service. You have to pay for the service prior to realizing the device wasn't scanned properly.

    They don't scan it when purchased online and will put a block on it and you will need your receipt to get it unlocked by Carrier.

    This is the second time in one week that I have ordered this device. I will also be the second time I have returned it. Both times I cannot activate it because it was not scanned out correctly and had been marked as stolen. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS ITEM. I am able to get the money back on the device, but I am out the $50.00 for the data plan.

    Walmart needs to do their job!
    Walmart did not scan item and consequently it did not work. I called ATT and they show it as stolen since it was not scanned. Now I have to go to Walmart (half hour away) to have them scan so ATT. does not think it's stolen. Defeats purpose of ordering online

    The store did not scan the products before they shipped so att would not activate them. So I had to go back to wal mart and show proof that I bought them then stay on the phone with att forever to get corrected just because a worker forgot to scan them as sold. Very frustrating

    Best bang for the buck
    Any negative reviews you read are likely a customer that didn't get their way or have another alternative motive. This device works better than my iPhone 13 in regards to service reception and will save you an immense amount of money rather than going through another hotspot vendor. Only downside to this is if your playing large PC games via laptop the hotspots battery life doesn't last very long but if you keep it plugged in that issue is resolved. I highly recommend buying this hotspot. Because you own the device out right you can check your local coverage for internet providers such as cricket wireless, Verizon, etc. (Comes with AT
