WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! don't buy this junk!
My sons 6th birthday was this past weekend and all he really wanted was this toy and got so excited about getting it only to find out it's so poorly put together and would stop working after less then an hour of play time. I had to exchange it out to get his tears to stop streaming down his little cheeks on his birthday. He was excited to have it again but was nervous and cautious so that it wouldn't stop working again and yet again a second one stopped working after 1/2 hour play time and so now he is just beside himself and it's just not fare at all that anyone would manufacture a child's toy so poorly that no matter how careful he is it will have mechanical issues so quickly. I changed out the batteries and know that wasn't the problem it's electrical. I mean if your going to make a toy that is most likely going to be a holiday gift you should atleast make sure it'll last through that day. I have a bad feeling there are going to be allot of upset little boys this christmas don't buy this junk you would be better off buying a dollar store gun atleast those last a couple days not a hour or less. Save yourself and your little guy the heart ache.

    I love this toy
I bought this for my 6-year old son and he loves it. His mother loves it because he can play with it and she doesn't have to pick up darts. I love it because I can play with him. I bought this in conjunction with Adventure Force's special forces pistol with the suppressor and flashlight and scope. Haven't had a problem with any of them in the time that he's owned them. The price is pretty cheap, so I don't anticipate it to be the type of toy he can kick around, but it hasn't failed yet. Still lights up, still makes noise, and still is fun to play with.
