Love this unit
Absolutely perfect for my movie collection. It has to be anchored to the wall to prevent tipping over but it is just what I needed!

Total piece junk
Super cheaply made, poor instructions. Spent 2 hours and 2 trips to Home Depot trying to add brackets to the 1/2 inch particle board that won't stand up after being put together. Ultimately had to screw the side of the unit to the wall so it won't fall over/apart. I've purchased tons of some assembly required furniture before, but I have never purchased one where the materials we so poor. Save your money and buy something else.

    I like this unit. I have it up on the wall. Looks very nice. Took no time to put together. All parts were there, no chips and my package was not torn or damaged.

    Can't even assembly so cheaply made
    The cam locks would no lock so shelves are still coming apart after being assembled and standing upright. Pieces of particle boards broke because cam loks would not lock into place. Very unreliable and cheaplt made, keep looking.

    its smaller than expected. im about as tall as it is and im 5'2. its not wide at all so books arent fitting correctly. and in order to get the best shelf capacity and use all of the shelves, it makes the space between each shelf small. you have to stack the books flat. good for knickknacks and such.

    What I've Come To Expect From Walmart
    DO NOT BUY!!! Ive never been more disappointed with a purchase. The cam locks are weak and break easilly. I was willing to supplement the two that had broken with L brackets before i had to give up. The third to last piece in the assembly was manufactured incorrectly and left the piece of wood set back a half inch from everything else. This would have made the back panel not sit correctly. The only remedy would have been to flip the piece to where the shelf holes would have been facing the outside of the shelf and the unfinished particleboard that should be the back would be facing forward. I guess i didnt get far enough to experience it breaking in half as others have reported. My best option was to waste more time and gas returning it to the store, as i wasnt willing to try and box it back up for FedEx. I would recommend if you make the mistake of buying, you unbox it outside as the styrofoam is brittle and thousands of little pieces of it end up everywhere. In the end, Im back where I started, with no shelf and shopping around, but I managed to spend 4 hours of my time with this disaster of an experience. Neaither Wal-Mart online, or in store seemed to care any more than the quality control department of the media center manufacturing facility. Time is money, and if you value your own time, you'd be better served to spend double on a quality product that Wal-Mart probably doesnt carry. Junk Product. Junk customer support.

    Bookcase works great and is a great way to display collectibles, books, or dvds. The instructions are a little vague and the construction is a little cheap, but once put together, it works good and is exactly what I was looking for.

    Not worth it
    Trash. Pics online are misleading it appears the shelves are deep enough to use this a an actual bookcase for books. However, IT IS NOT, this will definitely hold paperback books but if you're an avid reader and parent such as myself you will have a ton of hardbacks and children's books and they will not fit on this shelf (however I should have looked at measurements before purchasing so it is my fault). The materials are cheap, the cams do not work properly, one minute they are held tight the next the top and bottom shelf are almost completely separated from one another. The back part of the shelf came out of the box with the tape holding it together ripped, I had to use packing tape to re-tape it. It is very lightweight and not sturdy in the least bit, if you had the windows open and there was a light breeze it would topple over. I now have a $100 piece of furniture that I have literally no use for.

    Cheap plastic components and shoddy design.
    The wooden dowels are plastic and too loose to hold anything together. The cams are also plastic and break if you tighten them too much. Like another reviewer mentioned, the whole thing broke in half when standing it up. Believe the negative reviews, you don't want to be a victim of this shoddy product.

    HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
    Extremely disappointed. The materials are extremely cheaply made. A lot of the screws kept stripping. The entire thing literally ripped if half upon sitting it up after assembling and I had to doctor it with screws and nails to try and get it to even stabilize it so it would sit up. Horrible. I hate this and the experience and I'll never order stuff online like this again. I think a partial refund would be more than necessary but I won't hold my breath. Save your money and time, guys.
