Waste of money!
This DVD/CD tower looks great on the website, but when we got it out of the box we could see that it was just a flimsy piece of junk. It's poorly made and completely fell apart when we tried to put it together. We were only able to salvage a small section of it. The rest we threw out. Don't buy this and waste your money!

    Wish it were a Little better Constructed
    I can't say it doesn't look nice because it does... but the instructions and the way you put it together the design seems flawed. I had to “Macgyver” it together. I wish you could just drill screws in the whole thing. When I move I'll have to carry them and I'm not sure if they will stay together. It's unfortunate cause they are nice

    Okay as a whole, fixed shelves best
    Okay unit overall. I didn't realize when I changed the color I would change the number of shelves as well. I bought two so my collection would have room to grow but there really isn't much space if I use all 6 adjustable shelves. All 6 adjustable shelves being used would be good for CDs only. Otherwise you only need 3 adjustable shelves for DVDs. The adjustable shelves wobble when place near the top but get steadier toward the bottom. Not sure if it was a personal assembly problem since I built two units or just the upper region isn't lined up right. Going to have to remove items with care or glue shelves to make them permanent for solid hold. Still a cleaner look than my 3 shelf bookcase which left too much room on the shelf width. Buyers be wary but its not a horrible unit overall.

    II ordered two of these for the price of one which was a steel very easy to put together sturdy great size for CDs or DVDsI wish they had a been an oak color instead of a pine in color but other than that Im Happy

    very sturdy product
    I love the shelf! I had a black one that I had purchased a few years ago that I used for my DVDs and it got broken in the move! Anyway, I purchased this one to hold spices and stuff in my new kitchen since I don't have much cupboard space! It is very strong and I like how it looks and it was very easy to put together! I had purchased another shelf for my living room for my DVDs, but it was a waste of money, so I am going to buy 2 more of these to use in my living room for my DVDs!

    Good size for small space
    I bought this to go against the end of a bookcase to hold our CDs. We have room to spare on this item. I like that it is the size indicated on the box and does stand on the carpet. If using by itself, would recommend affixing it to a wall as it might tip over if top heavy with CDs.

    Impressive quality
    There were more parts than I expected, but this is a good thing as I think the way it's assembled helps make it sturdier. Clear instructions and extra hardware, in case you lose a piece, are a great plus. Very customizable in terms of shelf placement. As I used this mostly for videos, I had 2 shelves left over. Overall size makes it perfect for an apartment or other small space.

    Very nice CD organizer
    Comes neatly packed in a box much smaller than expected. Assembly instructions are very clear and complete. The most difficult part for me was pounding the backboard nails in -- my fingers are too fat and kept getting in the way. Then at first I had the woodgrain side of the backboard facing back instead of forward, so it can be seen between the shelves. Had to remove all the nails flip the boards over and start again.

    Sturdy Unit a good value
    As an avid music lover with nearly 300 cd's, my main concern was stability in a product that would hold my collection. I sure as heck didn't want the storage unit falling over and crushing my cat. This summit cabinet is the one for me. It fits my cd's perfectly, and snugs against the wall securely, WITHOUT using the wall fasteners, which are included. The trick is the bottom panel, which, being several inches longer than the others, serves as extra protection against tipping. Assembling it was easier than a lot of things I've had to build, and the dark cherry wood 'look' is pleasing to the eye. GOOD VALUE! Me happy. Me go eat now.
