Lightweight and easy to use vacuum
Surprisingly light weight. Love the tools for picking up pet hair. I have two dogs and watch friends dogs at times. Definitely need those tools. Love the bag style. Don't have to worry about the canister type. Throw the bags away and start fresh. No need to worry about cleaning the canister build up. So glad to get this vacuum.

Vacuum BISSELL PowerLifter Pet Bagged
The vacuum has pro and cons, Cons:  Is heavy, to move it, The cord is not self-wrapping Is uncomfortable to strike in the low and narrow spaces, The ignition control is with the foot, (I prefer the one that is closer to my hand) The suction duct is very short, The lengthening accessory is not long, Changing an accessory is uncomfortable due to the short of the duct to aspirate. Pros: Excellent suction power, Easy bag change Quality and design: The powder bristle brush has very long bristles. The bristle brush for the carpet and floor is easy to clean The paper bag is large so it lasts longer to fill. The color is pretty The grip handle for suctioning is vertical, I prefer the horizontal. The ignition is pedal, I prefer the one of hand Accessories: Are the same as the other vacuum cleaners, extra is the hair or pet hair, but I do not see much use since to use it requires to be connected to the vacuum cleaner, (I prefer the one that comes with batteries is faster and functional)

    Pet Hair Disappears!
    Once again Bissell has exceeded my expectations. This is the sixth Bissell purchase for me and it does a great job just like all the other Bissell products I own. It is lightweight but, powerful and does a great job picking up pet hair.

    Strong &Lightweight vacuum, but has a few problems
    The BISSELL PowerLifter Pet Bagged Upright Vacuum includes special tools to address pet hair, especially on furniture. I don't have much a problem with pet hair on soft furniture and I have hardwood floors. The vacuum is adjustable for different types of floors and it is lightweight for those who need it. It has a great long cord, so an extension cord is not necessary. It does vacuum and is powerful, but it has a few problems: 1. Did not think that I got the crevice tool because it is actually stored inside the hose extender wand. Interesting 2. You have to screw the handle on to the body of the vacuum. Screws are included, but I don't want to do that; I would like to click in place 3. It is not very clear, even with the User Guide, where to store the tools. I would like to store the extension wand at the end of the hose and have it insert into the body to complete the suction loop, but that it not possible since the end is a different size. I have not yet figured out where the special pet hair tools go. 4. It has STRONG SUCTION! Great...it actually was pulling pet hair from a distance of 6-10 inches. However, does not do well at the edges. So where the floor meets the wall, you have to use the hose and crevice tool to clean completely 5. It has STRONG SUCTION! ! So much so that when I used around the littler box to pick up uo stray litter, it spit a good portion of it behind me so I had to re-vacuum that area again...and again, until the litter was picked up. I would think a vacuum that picks up pet hair would also pick up kitty litter efficiently. 6. Strong suction means strong exhaust so if I got close to table cloth or paper on coffee table, they went flying. 7. It is very NOISY.

    Very powerful vacuum!
    This product is ideal for people who have multiple pets. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, three of which shed like wild beasts. There is always pet hair on the sofas and floor. I've purchased pet vacuums before and was disappointed in their performance. But this vacuum did everything that it states. I have used it to vacuum the entire house after I had used my old vacuum and was disgusted when I saw how much had been left by my old vacuum. I've used the attachments to clean the fur off of my furniture and base boards. I've also used the attachments to get the imbedded fur from my long hair cats favorite siesta spots. And even though she has used the same spots for years the attachments removed the hair. I will admit that I am not happy about using vacuum bags again because they can be costly. But, I think that it is worth it to have a fur free home. I vacuum everyday and depending on the pets a couple times a day, so we will see how this stands up to heavy use. All in all, I highly recommend this product, it has done wonders for our home.

    Nice Lightweight Vac
    I found this vacuum to be light and easy for me to handle. I'm getting up there in age and sometimes have trouble with heavy objects. I have long hair and it's always everywhere. The vacuum picked it up without a problem. With all the attachments that are included it was also relatively easy to vacuum the stairs and around the baseboards of my rooms. There is also a tool to use on furniture cushions that worked well. I also liked that the power cord is pretty long and I was able to clean more before I had to unplug it and find another outlet. I would have liked a little more suction power, but then again maybe that's just me. All in all, I was pleased with the overall performance of this lightweight vacuum and would recommend it.

    Great product!!!
    The Bissell Powerlifter Bagged Pet Vacuum is a great product. We have a short-haired Chihuahua/Dachshund cross. He is not a big shedder but he still sheds. The short hairs get caught in everything and can work their way into the fabric of the couch. This vacuum was able to pull them off the couch even those that were deeply embedded. I have never been a big fan of bagged vacuums but this one just makes sense. The pet hair (and dander) stays in the bag. I can remove the bag and never have to clean pet hair off the filters. The Pet Eraser tool is better than a lint remover in that I don't have to clean the lint off the roller. The vacuum sucks it right into the bag. My previous vacuum was a Eureka. This Bissell vacuum is half the weight of the Eureka and does a better job at lifting the pile on the carpeting. The Febreze Pet Odor Eliminator bag make the room smell fresh and clean. I can also manuver the vacuum under some of my furniture that I could not with the Eureka. If I have to say anything negative about this product I would say that it would have been nice to have a place for the Pet Hair Eraser Tool to attach to the vacuum. Overall, this is a very useful vacuum. One I would recommend.

    Bissell bagged upright vacuum
    Nice lightweight upright vacuum cleaner. This is our first upright. We have a central vacuum and a cannister for comparison. This upright is 12 lbs, 8 amps, and has a 30' cord. It has a pre motor filter and takes a style 7 bag. It takes a 15" wide path and has 5 floor settings that requires rotating a knob on the brush head. It has two foot pedals; one to release the handle and one to power on. Among the tools are an extension wand, a crevice tool, pet eraser ( a litter paddle cleaner) and a dust brush. It has a fair amount of power. Mostly made of non marring plastic. The bags are very easy to change and the two bags included are Fabreeze scented. I think the $120.00 dollar ballpark range make this vacuum a fair deal. This Bissell vacuum works very well and I would recommend it.

    LIGHTWEIGHT AND POWERFUL
    The Bissell Powerful Bagged Vacuum is a nice looking compactly contained vacuum with on-board accessories. I like the fact that it has a 30 foot cord so that I can move between rooms without having to plug into a new socket. I like the suction and the height adjustment knob, this way it doesn't try to ‘eat' my scatter rugs. It has a dusting brush for drapes and floorboards, the crevice tool, which is conveniently stored inside the extension wand. It has Pet TurboEraser tool and a Pet Hair Eraser tool. It has a step-on and off button so no bending involved and the recline pedal can be pressed twice if you really want the vacuum under low tables. The vacuum comes with 2 filter bags, both with Febreze scents. Just pull the tab on the Febreze freshener card on the bottom of the filter bag before inserting a new bag. I really like vacuums with bags, it helps keep the vacuum looking cleaner and I feel that less dust and particles get into the air. The rotating floor brush continues to rotate when you are using the on board tools, which I would prefer it didn't. The Pet Hair Eraser did not remove all the dog hair which was disappointing but perhaps that was because of the type of fabric I was trying to clean. The Pet TurboEraser did a more complete job of it. It is an easy to use, friendly vacuum cleaner.

    Great All Around Vacuum
    Received, assembled, and tried out this Bissell Vacuum. It was packed very well. There were very few parts to assemble, and I only needed a screwdriver. I was very surprised on how lite it was. My other vacuum is big and bulky! This unit has an extra long 30 foot cord, so it can be used in several rooms without having to move to a different plug. I really liked the ease of handling, you can push it effortlessly around the house . It is not too noisy and did a great job on the carpet! I even went over my Title floors!. I have owned other Bissell products and found this brand to be a reliable one. This is a very good machine. The extra attachments were a plus and you can put all but one on the machine. It came with a bag already in it, with an extra one for later. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone! I give this 5 Stars!!
