Small but sure canning tools
These are the perfect size for canning. I like a small jar that I know won't go bad as there are only 2 living here now. Canning is time consuming but worth every second. I love this size and hope Ball-continues to make and Walmart continues to carry.

Horrible delivery
Left outside of a different office building, after hours. I don't like this delivery service they offer. Can't even find a phone number to call to let them know this was unacceptable.

    Too expensive
    Remember when canning used to be affordable? I hate paying $1.00 per jar Please let the Companies know they are wiping out home canning.

    Solid, cute jars with about 6oz usable capacity
    Pretty much what I thought they would be: small jars, adequate for canning fruit jam in our two- person household. They are solid and cute, and the lid system works very well. They ended up having a bit less capacity than I expected: they're 8 oz filled to the rim, but when canning, you can fill them only to 6 oz.

    lid gets rusted
    I started buying these jars to separate my seasonings but I noticed that after 2 or 3 weeks the screwing lid starts getting rusted and I have to use whatever is inside fast because I'm not very happy with the jars I think they should make them that they don't get rusted otherwise the jars are good

    I have canned regularly since 1965 and I trust Ball jars and lids for consistently high quality performance. The average load of canned food takes an hour to an hour and half to process. Failure of the jars to seal is a waste of time and often a waste of food being canned. Fruit does not respond well to multiple cycles of canning, so using the best jars and lids just make sense. I have used PUR this year due to the lack of Ball or Kerr and have been disappointed. I'm glad the Ball is again available and reasonably priced.
