    Great Combo
    Ive had the 7foot big game spinning combo for 3 years now and I love it. Makes a great catfish rod. I planned on replacing the reel almost right away but it was already spooled with my favorite mono, and it turned out to not be a bad reel at all. All around a very solid combo. handles great even and fights great!

    Great Fit and Finish for a med-heavy rod
    Haven't took it to the river yet, but the construction and finish on the rod is pretty great. Smooth reeling and great drag control. Bought this rod for gar, I believe it'll perform just like I need it to.

    Caught a 7 foot gator.
    My son got this pole and reel combo for casual bass fishing, but one day my car door shut on the pole and it broke. We transplanted an Ugly Stik pole with this reel and the line it came with (20-something lb test) and started fishing at Lake Toho in Florida. We were using xxl shiners. The one he was using was dead, so he dragged it across the water with a weight on, hoping for a hungry bass willing to bite. He got a bite, and set the hook, then immediately he realized that this was much bigger than a bass. It was a gator. He fought for 4 minutes, then got the gator to the dock. I gasped in astonishment. It was EASILY 7 feet long and still thrashing about. We cut the line, then the gator shook the hook out and was on it's way. I am amazed at the line and reel strength of this combo. That gator was a very healthy gator, and was pulled 20 or so feet into the dock as to minimize the amount of line cut. This is VERY strong reel and line.

    Received the Berkley Gam Spinning Combos a week ago. Haven't had a chance to try them out yet but by looking and testing what I do have I am well pleased. Can't wait to get to the water.
