great vaccum!
it works so good!! I love it!! it works really great!! picks up very well!! kind of gets caught on the thick carpet even on the highest setting, but it works very well!!

Disappointment
I'm giving it's a one star! I'm very disappointed I never had problems with order from Walmart online until now, when I go open the box to take the vacuum out I was in shock there was dirt everywhere!!!! It was used, the vacuum was broken it didn't have all it parts I was so mad, I went to the nearest Walmart store thankfully they refunded it for me that's the only reason why this is giving one star, I definitely do not recommend buy anything online from Walmart !!!!!!

    not suitable for dense carpets
    This is not that suitable for dense carpets. I am not a technical guy so I can't name carpet types. I have one rug – it's good there. (pic attached) One dense small rug in front of the dresser- it was stuck there. (Pic attached) Even for bathroom mats – seems it's kind of a toll on machines. I can get the sense it's not efficient. For the wood floor- it's perfect and picks up the trash. I like the wire retraction part and it was the main reason I bought this. There is a handle to pick up the whole machine to carry it around your house. Overall, I am not that satisfied, and it's 3/5 for me. I might return this.

    GAME CHANGER!!!
    Five stars after the first use!! I've been looking for a great vacuum from spending low money on a dirty devil to $250 for shark vacuum (All for pets). Before hand I would have to spend at least an hour vacuuming but this vacuum has completely cut the time down picking up every single hair, dust and dirt. I accidentally sucked up a sock perfectly fine. But definitely recommend this to anyone who has pets and carpet! Absolutely love it!!!

    I'm very impressed with this vac. Not only does it get the dog hair off the couches, but the amount of crap it picks up off the floor makes me wonder what the purpose of a broom is for. Let me explain… I didn't realize this vacuum had a hard floor mode. So after sweeping, I vacuumed. The amount of dog hair, human hair, and dirt that came up was mind blowing. Let's just say, I no longer sweep unless it's to pick up larger items that shouldn't be vacuumed. I even vacuum the bathroom. If you have teenage boys, you know body hair can be found everywhere! The vacuum agitates the carpet so nicely and sucks up a ton of dust and dirt from the carpet. Carpets look and feel fresh and in more high traffic areas, actually picks up and fluffs the strands nicely. I've attached two pics. The first one is what it picked up in the kitchen after sweeping. We have a small 5x7 area rug that was also vacuumed. 2nd pic is the master bedroom. My only complaint about this vac is the hose is short. It stretches, but it ends up pulling the vacuum and it falls on the floor.

    The vaccum cleaner is fine, except that the cord wants to rewind while you're vaccuming, and it's extremely slow while cord is rewinding back into the vaccum, and I had to actually help it go back into the box... I actually have a gripe about how I received the box, it was torn up and had a sticker that said, Send As Is on it. I was not thrilled about that!! The last few times I have ordered from Walmart, there's been issues with the orders...

    Bissell customer for life- really like the 2692
    I've been using this for about a year now and it works great. I have a small carpeted apartment with only one cat, so it does the job fine. If I had a bigger house and a dog, I would probably invest in a bigger pet type model. I've taken the thing apart and cleaned it numerous times. It is easy to clean and take apart! I like that it is all washable. My only gripe is the cord. One-I don't believe it is long enough as it states, as my apartment is about 750 sq foot and I have to pull out the cord to the red mark to vacuum the whole place without switching plugs. Two-the cord placement is weird. The cord is on the right hand side. I would like it on the left. I'm constantly running over the cord and having to readjust it and it is just weird to maneuver and push the vacuum with my right hand. I didn't have this issue with my last model. So far the extension tube has not ripped like it times past, but I purposefully do not use extend it fully to try and prevent this. The expansion is not long at all. As with all rewind models, there are times where the cord gets "stuck". You just have to be patient and gentle with it- pull it back out and rewind it again. The attachments don't always stay on their designated spots, but that is not a problem for me. Also, this is completely plastic, but I've scuffed it plenty of times up against my baseboards and ran into the furniture. I thought for sure by now I would have damaged it somehow, but it has withheld the abuse. If you need something for a smallish space and minimal pets, I would highly recommend this vacuum. I use this on average three times a week and I do actually like the turbo attachment much better than my previous vacuum. With the right pressure, the roller does not get stuck on furniture, rugs or stairs. I have had to clean it out with my hair getting wrapped in there, but I've not had to take it apart yet. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and I am proud to purchase Bissell since they are known to support animal foundations.

    So far so good. It was fairly easy to put together, seems sturdy, and is light. Esp compared to my old vacuum. I couldn't believe the amount of dirt and hair it picked up. I knew my old vacuum was on its way out, but I didn't realize it was that bad. Great suction, seems to run very strong. I'd say go for it. Especially for the price

    This is the best vacuum cleaner ever.
    this is the best vacuum cleaner ever because it picks up amazingly cat hair dog hair and husband dirt. I was able to put it together in minutes without even looking at the directions I like to cord wind up it does wind up slow but it does wind up no more fuss with a drop cord easy to dump easy to clean great suction power I didn't know one of my rugs had so much dirt living in it. I would recommend this vacuum cleaner to a friend and to my enemy just so they will be clean. The pictures I included is of a aerial rug that's cow printed and my husband vacuumed four times with our regular vacuum cleaner and this one got this up afterwards.

    Felt like a Christmas gift to myself...
    Kinda embarrassed to post this photo, but this vacuum works miracles. After just a few sweeps across a bare skin rug that hadn't been vacumned for years, all the dust, animal dander and dirt that had been brought in were effortlessly removed by this thing of beauty. Makes me want to vacumn again even tho my rug is literally as clean as it's going to get...
