The best High quality incredible sound
Oh my! This Bose smart soundbar 600 is amazing! The sound is superb. And it is so easy to use. All you have to do is scan the QR code with your smartphone or iPad to get the free Bose music app. The QR code is in the ‘start here' pamphlet, and then after the app downloads, follow the easy to understand instructions to connect your soundbar to your phone or tablet. Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on. And of course you have to connect the soundbar to power and then connect it to your television with the hdmi cable that is included. The small remote control is ready to use right out of the plastic. This soundbar was so easy to setup and so easy to use, I was listening to my favorite tunes from my Amazon music in less than five minutes. It has Amazon Alexa built in, and the voice technology lets you control the soundbar and your tv and also your cable or satellite box with your voice. The sound quality coming from this soundbar is so incredible, it separates the different sounds like instruments or effects. It also looks very sleek and nice and is definitely high quality, excellent sound. Perfect!!

A little pricey but a good “all in one” solution
I am writing this review from the perspective of someone that does home theater as a hobby and currently has a full receiver and surround speaker system set up in my living room. I had never had experience with a soundbar so this was an exciting and interesting experience. The first thing I observed about the Bose was the quality of the packaging and build of the soundbar. It is packed with thick protective foam all around and includes both types of cables (hdmi and optical) you should need to connect it to your source. It also includes a nice compact remote and power cord. The last soundbar I saw in operation (not mine) was many years ago and was a very large lower quality item. Therefore, I was surprised at the compact size and weight of the Bose. I view soundbars as a solution for someone that wants to upgrade their sound from the usually weak (due to the shrinking thickness of TVs) TV speakers but doesn't want to set up, operate, or maintain a receiver and speaker system. I think for the average user and TV, this soundbar would probably be a relatively simple setup, but I had issues with connecting the soundbar to my almost new LG OLED television. I believe the issue might be caused by the HDMI “handshake” with the LG. I could only get the sound from the LG TV to the Bose using a certain HDMI cable (not the one included) and then only after a couple of factory resets of the soundbar. I had no issue using the soundbar in our bedroom with our Panasonic TV and that is where it now resides. The soundbar has Atmos capability (surround with simulated “height” channels), but I was not able to get the soundbar to recognize the Atmos format, so I could not test the height effects. The only other issue I have is keeping the soundbar connected to my home network, but the user manual does recommend the unit to be very close to your router, even though I don't have issue with any of my other home wireless devices even at a distance. As far as the sound, I was very surprised at the amount of sound that comes out of a fairly compact unit. Of course, it cannot match a full speaker system for output, but is definitely better than the alternative. There is also a fair amount of bass that comes out of the system and clear dialog. There is an available subwoofer but I don't think most folks will need it especially at the added cost. The included remote works well but there is no display to tell you what sound level you are at on the unit or on the TV display. The Bluetooth works well once your device is paired and the optical cable connection works correctly also. Even though this soundbar is a bit pricey, I think it is a good “all in one” solution for those wanting to upgrade their sound quality in a compact package.

    The Bose sound bar has a nice sleek design. It fits perfectly on our shelf next to tv. This sound bar was very easy to setup and it's wireless other than the power cable. The sound quality from this sound bar is phenomenal! The sound bar includes a remote control to easily select between options of listening to music or watching tv. I love that I can easily connect via Bluetooth my cell phone and listen to music. The sound quality and loudness are excellent. The tv easily connects via Bluetooth as well. This sound bar is well made and definitely appears to be of exceptional quality. The sound bar has a much better design as it's not as bulky as previous sound bars and there's no wires to worry with. You don't even notice it on the shelf next to our tv. My entire family has enjoyed using this. If you are considering purchasing this I definitely would recommend it, it has exceeded our expectations. Great quality sound output and very easily accessible from any device.9

    Absolute Audio Perfection!
    Yes I am a Bose fanboy from the 1980's and could not wait to replace my 2 year old Samsung sound bar with this beauty! Bose set the industry standard for high quality audio reproduction and this soundbar continues their dominance. The highs, mids and bass are spot on with room filling sound from a pint sized speaker set. This bar is a full 11.5 inches shorter than the Samsung it replaced and sounds so much better! Pros: 1. HDMI ARC and power cord inputs are at opposing angles so cables are easier to manage. 2. Built in power supply! Single power cable for easy management. The Samsung came with external wall-wart that ended up dangling from the wall (had to tape it to the back of the TV not good) 3. Integrated automatically with our other Bose equipment through the app. Plugged it in, fired up the Bose app. It was recognized, updated itself and was ready to roll in 10 minutes! 4. Seamlessly integrates with every flavor of smart device: Built in Chromecast as well as Apple Airplay, Alexa and Hey Google. 5. Ability to MUTE voice assistant input. I don't want Alexa recording everything that we say 24/7 and this feature stops that from happening! (The TOS requires this constant recording and you have to agree to use Alexa at all. This is a great solution from Bose!) 6. Comes with all the necessary cables: ARC compliant HDMI and Digital Optical 7. Beautifully designed and packaged as expected from a Bose product Cons: 1. Volume level feedback is limited to 2 blinking lights on the bar itself. The app has an actual slider that's more precise, but sometimes I want to just use the remote. Don't settle for crappy audio reproduction from your built in TV speakers or cheap soundbar… Make an investment in the Bose Smart Soundbar 600 and experience the absolute best!

    Bose quality is always exceptional!
    Great quality sound. Exactly what I expected from a Bose product. Bose did an exceptional job once again with this speaker. Sound clarity is 100%, and bass through the app can be adjusted to suit your taste, height adjustment is perfect, treble adjustment can also be adjusted, all this and Alexa too. Makes personalizing the speaker to YOUR needs so extremely easy. Music is perfect, TV sound is clear, movies fantastic. You will feel like you are in a theater. Very pleased with this Bose soundbar. Easy set up, not too heavy, easy to use, GREAT sound, TONS of features, and exceptional quality as usual in a Bose product. This is a new release item and I'm sure it will be a best seller in the future. It's really just a great value for what you get and quality sound it provides. 100% recommend!

    Great Sound
    First of all I commend the way the soundbar was packaged. Very easy set up. Right off from the get go, what a difference in the way our TV sounds. A movie sounded like we were in a theater. I paired my phone with the soundbar and my music never sounded so good. I haven't tried the Bluetooth yet. I am so very happy with this. Attractive looking. Good speaker lay out.

    Superior sound!
    I love my Bose Smart Sound bar. Set up is so easy and takes literally less than 10 min. It works flawlessly and the sound quality is like being in a movie theater. It is so well constructed too. This is not some flimsy knock-off. It’s the real deal quality speaker. It’s a great speaker from a great name. It has its own remote and downloadable app. The box contains everything you need to successfully set it up. Including two manuals and the remote, and all wires necessary.

    Bose Sound Bar
    When I first started hooking this up I was a bit overwhelmed. I thought what have I got myself into. But the set up is really easy. Just take your time. Use your smart phone to scan the QR code. I wish that it came with more instructions and maybe a instruction manual. But you get nothing. Once you download the Bose App you can follow the instructions and it is pretty easy. You will have to set up an account with Bose and download their app. You may want to have an email and password ready in your head. You do have the option to use Alexa as this comes with it but you can skip this if you do not want to use that feature. I do feel like a lot of this is figure it out yourself. Again, you do not get a book or anything that explains what to do. I feel like the remote should have something explaining what each button is for. Once you hook this up to your tv you can either use the speaker or just use the speaker on your television. My TV is an excellent TV and a high quality TV and I always thought it had really good sound. And it does have really good sound. But I am amazed at the difference when I use the Bose Sound Bar. I have used the Sound Bar just watching regular television, movies, a football game, and listening to music and mirroring videos from my phone. The sound is amazing. The Bose App has some cool features. I am still learning more I can do with this. If you click on Browse Music then the little music note in the lower right it takes you to local radio stations. I think this is pretty cool. It also has internet radio. You can add radio stations and heart your favorites so they are always available. You will need to have Bluetooth enabled on your device and you are able to allow others to connect to your Sound Bar. The Sound Bar is black and long and slim, as you can see from the picture. I just have mine sitting on the tv stand. You do need to plug this in and connect it to the TV with the provided cable. The remote that comes with this is pretty small. I did have a couple of things I wasn't sure about but you can find answers to most of your questions on the Bose website. I would definitely recommend this Sound Bar. I would love to have a couple more and mount in the room to get the surround sound effect.

    Clear Improved Sound for Smart TV
    We can't believe the difference in the sound quality for our family room smart TV. The Bose 600 soundbar is EXCEPTIONAL! Super easy to connect right out of the box. Almost no setup. I used my iPhone and downloaded the Bose APP. QR code included so it automatically paired after creating an account. Bluetooth sync and connected our SIRIUS account instantly. The sound is so powerful if desired. The soundbar also works with our Amazon Alexa. Again, all the instructions on how to pair these services are included in the APP. I followed the directions and it worked the first time. Two cables are included in the package and directions on how to adjust the settings on any Smart TV. Even older Smart TV's have the options needed for this soundbar. A remote is included which controls the soundbar and the TV. Other options available for the product include: works with Google Assistant, Apple AirPlay, Spotify and others. I would totally recommend this product for the ease of use and the improved sound. So happy to have this in my family room.

    Fantastic sound
    Received this yesterday. Was boxed and packed up so securely. Because we wanted this specifically for our bedroom tv, I had to put up a shelf to hold it below the tv set. We are tired of having the tv volume up to 45 level and still not hear it as well, or as loud, as we should be. But then again, it is an older tv. Was able to test out the sound before we are hooking it up using the Alexa app. Played some music through it and it sounded so nice. Rich and vibrant sound with deep bass. Very clear. With our tv, we have an older model that doesn't have HDMIeARC connector. We also don't have an optical connector. We will be shopping for a newer model tv that can easily support this soundbar. So, until we can get out looking for the tv, we can listen to music through it and at least enjoy it that way. Loving how clear and crisp the music plays out of it. I can't wait to experience movies and tv shows with the excellent sounds. Hooking it up was so easy. Did watch installation through the app I downloaded. That helped a lot so was thankful to have that. Love this soundbar! Would be the perfect gift for husband, wife, kids, or even parents.
