Braun electric series 3 shaver
Bought this shaver to replace one that no longer gave a good shave. This razor gives a good shave and is easy to charge. Very happy with my purchase.

Wont charge
My shaver wont charge in the base. I had to charge it with the charging cable direct. Also it wont charge all the way as it should. It has 3 bars/lines that light up when fully charge but mine only goes up to the second one so its not fully charge. After it got a little bit of charge directly I used it and I did Like it how it works but I have to see how im gonna get a replacement.

The only downside is you are not able to replace the inner battery, although I would definitely say that I got my moneys worth out of its lifespan. The shave is close, and the cleaning solution is clever, durable, workable and self-directed. This type of quality and durability in a total shaving solution one would expect to cost well over $100. Do your due diligence in reading product reviews and comparing features; but I doubt that you will find a superior--or even comparable--product of this quality and completeness at this price point. The unit also includes a beard/mustache trimmer and sideburns tidy-up electric tool on the reverse side. This unit provides a closer shave, for me, that the typical "three floating heads" technology that I had used for so long. Yes, the cleaning fluid does need replacing after a few dozen shaves, but this is a long-lasting, high-quality shaving solution.edwscott

Seems like I got a bad battery because my previous Braun lasted nearly a decade. Don't like the price increases as this unit cost $93. First unit was high $20's, 2nd unit was mid $40's.Golfdoc

No trouble getting close to mustache - head does not grab. I must shave every day and this has no problem keeping a smooth face. I like the convenient cleaning system. Not crazy about purchasing the cleaner but other shavers are just a pain to keep clean.jethroT

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/24/2016Braun Series 3 Electric ShaverThis is the second Braun Series 3 shaver that I have owned, so it's easy to tell that I think highly of this product. I somehow overlooked that this particular shaver came with their Clean & Charge unit that uses a liquid cleaner/lubricator solution that comes in a small tank that is inserted into the base of the separate plastic cleaner device. That cleaner device takes up space on the top of your bathroom vanity, space that I don't have , and it must be plugged into an electrical outlet. I just ignore all that and brush out the shaver after every use. Be aware, though, that because of this the shaver comes without a case to put it in, a cleaning brush, or Braun machine oil to lubricate the shaver. In my case, I had all that from my previous Braun shaver, so it didn't make any difference. It does come with a conventional charger unit, though. Someday, I'll try out the Clean & Charge unit. but I can't rate that at this time.Acuraguy

As I continued, I saw pictures, revealing that I would need to use it. The pictures have shown that I would need to manually dismantle the unit, in order to replace the batteries. In general, I'd say that it's a neat item. However, it seems that the work needed is inconvenient.Sodo
