Awesome five stars
Very sturdy and would not allow anyone to just walk into your unit with using it. The the maintenance guy has a key to my apartment and he tried to just walk in and he couldn't. Lol thanks Walmart for item.

Very cheaply made and broke immediately.
Broke immediately upon attempting to set it up for the first time. Everything about this product is cheap cheap cheap. Took it out of the box and the small metal button that locks into the adjustment holes broke off the first time it was touched. Sent it back and purchased the more expensive model that was around $100.00. The more expensive one uses a locking lever, rather than a bunch of small holes. The more expensive model was made of significantly more robust metal. The bottom line is that you get what you pay for. I cant in any way recommend this product, especially when the safety of your home and family is at stake.

    SHAME ON BRINKS!
    This could easily give someone a false sense of security that their door will not be able to be breached. The description states "Ideal for use on on tile, wood and concrete." That would only be true if you have REALLY ROUGH tile, wood or concrete. If your surface is smooth it DOES NOT GRIP, but slides very easy across the floor surface. Shame on this well known brand for putting people at risk for a few more bucks in their bank. ZERO stars.

    bought 2 one was broken when it arrived the other broke about a week later. bought one more and it broke immediately, and it's difficult getting your money back.

    Not sturdy at extended lengths.
    When extended to its longest, this is completely flimsy and won't hold the door. I bought it for the advertised extension length, but it's just unusable at that length, or even at about half-extension. Would be OK for applications in which you didn't have to pull the bars apart by more than a couple of inches.

    Sturdier heavy-duty steel door security bar
    I feel much safer and secure, securing my apartment's sliding glass door with this sturdier commercial heavy-duty steel door security bar. I replaced another brand's security bar with Brink's security door bar. I will be ordering another one for entrance door to my apartment.

    Creeper could not get in...
    I don't usually write reviews but I feel this one is warranted. I bought this September 2019 when I moved into my new apartment because my door only has one lock. Last night someone tried to force their way into my apartment. I had the door locked and this bar in place. It gave me peace of mind knowing that it added extra protection. So...heck yea, this is worth it.
