As designed, 1 solid piece of plastic, For the price, worth the risk of snapping of the blow hole. Will be able to use the cap as a hose cover if indeed does break, so that's a plus.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/11/2018Works: 12V car/bike pump. At stores.Used a cheapo 12V bicycle tire pump, with the Camco water pressure-governor hose connector. (Both Camco products are available at Walmart stores). Affixes directly and sufficiently to such car/bike air pumps--no need for a special adapter. Probably takes longer than air compressors, but it works. Easier to transport and store this setup in an RV (smaller RV--not much plumbing). Get these (and, plenty of antifreeze, if desired) before they sell out. Massive numbers of RV'ers tend to winterize in Fall. Uncertain of long term durability--metal wins. Used plumbers tape--metal against plastic. Remember to give such a cheapo pump time to cool off--after 15 mins. or so.gsnoorky

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/22/2017Non common valve stemThere are several air compressor fittings, three or more types for tools, and at lest two for bicycles. This, I believe, is a bicycle type, maybe a presta valve; definitely not a shrader. It has no threads, and the inlet is smooth plastic. There is no valve core either, although none is needed because airflow is continuous. Presta bicycle pumps have a lever that's flipped to lock it Most folks would be better off with Camco's tool chuck type valve stem, like automotive tires and shop tools use. It's frustrating when you don't have the right valve adapter. I do, but not all folks have them.Casita

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/23/2017Worked as advertised.I used my portable air pump, latched it onto the blow out plug, the pressure built up and was able to blow all the lines out. Guess if you use it right, no problems.wjhtana
