overhead extra room
I used this to carry my belongings from Washington to Texas, it was really roomy, I even put a folding rocking chair in it, a folding table and all my bedding. Even though I did not have racks on my car I was able to attach it to my overhead handles inside my car in the front and back seats. It worked great.

Piece of crap
Piece of crap. Used once to drive 12 hours to Florida. Got there and it was shredded and all clothes soaked.

    Started crumbling and falling apart
    We aren't even to our destination yet and have had to stop at a Walmart 3 hours from our final stop to purchase a tarp to line the inside with. There are holes all along the front and top. Two stars for the amount of room inside. Big enough for three suitcases and could probably fit a little more in.

    love it!!!!!
    Just in time for the holidays! My husband loves it!!!!! Highly recommend it for road trips ! It's a little bit of hard time assembling it but it was worth it!!!

    I would definitely recommend this product! I used this to transport a couple of totes a short distance. This was easy to attach to my vehicle and then zipping the product was easy breezy. I did not have the opportunity to try the product in the rain. The zipper was easy breezy to use and the product held a good amount of items.

    Great storage bag
    This roof storage storage bag is of an excellent qualis an excellent quality and is waterproof so you do not have to worry about your belongings getting wet. This storage bag fits on just about all it's about all make and model cars and Suv. This bag is lightweight and very easy to store away.

    sturdy and well built
    I got the Cargo Smart 10 cu/ft cargo bag for packing extra vacation stuff in our van. I also have the Cargo Smart non-skid protective roof pad to keep the bag in place. The bag looks to be well built with nice reinforced areas where the loops for the tie down straps go. I suspect if something is to fail it will be the straps before the bag itself. The bag claims to be rainproof and has a nice velcro flap that goes over the zipper to keep the rain out. I haven't used the bag in the rain yet, but won't be putting anything in the bag to test the rainproof-ness of it either. Overall, it looks to be a well built bag that will last a long time for our family.

    The Cargosmart bag is great to have for all types of trips. Whether your going camping or going on a road trip. I can fit so much gear in it so there is no need to take up any room in your vehicle. Get easy access to whatever you mat need on the way to your destination. Strong material that us made to last in whatever elements you drive through.

    For the most part I liked the size of cargo rooftop storage. It fit perfectly between the bars on my Chevy Traverse, and the added slip mat made it even more secure . This gave us more room in our car for our extended weekend trip . Installation was a bit difficult, the straps were the most difficult I fell that if the straps were ratchet style, it would of been much easier to install and have a more secure hold. Also, If the straps were attached to the bag and be able to extend would have been great because I fell like it took a long time to install . We ended up tying knots with the straps for extra security. I kept looking in the rearview mirror to see if it got lose but, it didn't. I'll give this product a 3.5 out of 5, just because of the long install and I was worried about the stitching(which didn't seem secure) and the straps. I would recommend to family and friends but, with an additional purchase of ratchet style straps.

    I never really purchase things like this or think of them but after receiving this I might just start it's really nice sturdy bag that hold things it can be anything witch is pretty cool it's a multi task bag you can put different things for traveling on trip to camping if you end up running out of space in car. Witch is really helpful. I love the quality and thickness and heavy duty material it has.
