This fryer is very narow taking a long time to bring the oil to temp. Also when the basket is in you cannot put the lid on, there's no slot for the handle. Finally when you hang the basket it drips oil outside onto your stove. Overall not a great experience

    Not the pot for me.
I bought this pot, because I like that it is tall and narrow, so that I could put other pots on the stove with it without them touching. It is beautiful and it works great. The reason that I don't like it is, because I used it to boil vinegar and garlic to can peppers and the stainless steel coating came off of the inside around the top edge of the pot. I have other pots that are stainless and use them for vinegar a lot. You have to use stainless or glass (corning) for vinegar as it will ruin nonstick and the vinegar gets a horrible taste if cooked in aluminum or cast iron. Any stainless steel pot should stand up to vinegar, but this one must be coated with stainless steel and not totally stainless. It is no advertised as 18/10, so that should tell. If you are never going to use it for vinegar, it is probably a wonderful pot, as I have the roaster from the same company and it is great. I used this pot for cooking the juice to can figs and that was fine. It cleaned up wonderfully. Sorry to say, I am returning this one today.

Great Deep Fryer for all your Deep Frying needs
I have had this product for 2 weeks now and i love it, I threw my sister a Fish Fry and the fish turned out great, only needs to cook about 4-5 minutes per batch, also fried chicken, thick pieces, cooked good all the way through. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this, better than most electrical deep fryers.

    excellent value
I can't rate the durability since I have not owned it long enough. The only draw back to this fryer is that there are no oil level marks on the inside so you have to guess how much oil to use.

Good for apts. with less counter space.
I wanted/needed a new deep fryer but didn't really want another electric one. Decided to try this stove top one and like it well. It can also be used as soup pot, etc. Only complaint I have is that there were no instructions/recipes enclosed. I had no idea what temp. to heat the oil to so my chicken either turned out beautiful on the outside and bloody next to the bone or done all the way through and crust was hard as a brick. Just have to work with the temp. till you get it right.

Enjoying this heavy duty deep fryer & basket.
Love the deep fryer. It's a heavy aluminum pot and basket that fries well and evenly. I was able to fry a dozen seasoned wings and they fried up perfectly. You can hang the basket on the inside to drain your oil well before serving the food. I found this fryer perfect. It washes up easily and I would certainly recommend it... HIGHLY !!!
