Dangerous product
When using it to blanch tomatoes, the lid shattered, throwing glass shards all over my stove and kitchen, including fine long shards that easily pierced the skin when cleaning it up. The water level was mid-pot and at a low boil with the strainer basket in the pot. I added cold, washed tomatoes, replaced the lid, and several minutes later, without any interaction by me, the lid shattered.

    Sturdy and functional product
    I am unsure of this brand, because its my first time buying the product. I will say that the quality is good, my cooking experience has been positive using this steamer, and it cleans nicely during hand washing. I like this Cook Pro 8 Steamer.

    A value-priced workhorse.
    This product works as advertised. I am able to cook spaghetti while at the same time steaming fresh vegetables. The main pan is somewhat lighter metal than I expected, but overall finish and quality are excellent, especially the glass lid.

    Not very thick
    I was disappointed in the thickness of the pans. I do like, however, the assortment of strainer and the pasta drainer. I just hope the pans hold up to weekly use.
