Great headset
So far my 10 year old is loving his new headset. He enjoys using it while playing computer games and while on zoom at school. He said the padding from the headset is comfortable unlike his old one and the sound quality is and microphone are both excellent. He can hear his best friend clearly using this. My sons is very happy with new headset. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Bought new, found out someone wore it before me
Never got to actually use it. I bought a "new" set from the store (inside, not online), and realized it was already open when I got home. You can tell someone opened, and used the headset because of fingerprints left on the ears. Will return. I don't want to use a headset someone else has used or left hairs in.

RMA'd it through Corsair, as Walmart wouldn't refund me the headset, even though two or three days were left on my return period. The headset does not grip and get very snug around the ears, this, on top of the balance issues, causes a severe lack of bass a lot of the times. The headset I got back from RMA has the exact same issue. Extremely off-putting to have the balance way off. Left side balance is the side lacking, both headsets, same issue. 3 stars 1 star on Walmart not accepting my return. 2 stars on Corsair for the balance issue with the headset.Evan

Worst of all is no longer covered by their support who say "well we no longer support it so we cant help you" no warranty here folks. im just mad that they still sell this product even when they know its useless plastic.Mohamed Soussi

The top (padded adjustable band) fits comfortably on my large head and doesn't feel flimsy like other headsets. The box included the headset, warranty info and a Y splitter. The Y splitter I received had a problematic connection (most likely due to a frayed cable), but wasn't critical. Like others online have mentioned, the microphone does sound quiet out of the box. Others may complain that they can't hear you. I was able to adjust the sound settings via Windows to increase microphone volume. Mic quality with boosted volumes sounds loud/clear with some minor static. The mute feature does work and has come in handy. Overall very comfortable to use for extended periods and decent audio/mic quality for the price!John

I've tried troubleshooting, but to no avail. From what I've read of other reviews online, it appears that this is a common issue with this headset. It worked perfectly with PS4, however. That being said, the audio quality is decent for this price point, and the headset is very comfortable, even after extended use.Michael
