Very satisfied.
I love it. It is my first 3D printer, so there is a learning curve to be sure, but it is SO much fun!

Almost caught fire!
worked fine for 2 months. found the neg. power plug on controller board burned black. I don't think it was ever tightened at the factory. it's a wonder ther wasn't a fire!

    One Of Three Is Good.
    I purchased three of these. The 1st one is still up and running, doing an awesome job, but requires a fair amount of maintenance to keep tight tolerances

    received a week after ordering. setup took a little because instructions was pictutes. wirering was a little difficult due to a few wires marked the same. but in testing the motion in perpare found the issue. running test print so far works awsome.

    STRONGLY recommend printer
    Fantastic 3D printer for an extremely reasonable price. I looked around and read a ton of reviews. This was the one that always topped the list. It took a little bit in terms of assembly. The instructions weren't that clear, but I took my time and made it work. Watch the Youtube videos to learn how the do it efficiently. Also, VIP to know how to tighten the eccentric nuts on the bed wheels. My bed teetered, so I found a video on how to fix it. Literally, it took the provided wrench and a slight turn. Easy! I am very proficient in SolidWorks, so making my own parts is why I bought it. I started with making upgrades for the printer, like tool holders, filament guides. etc. That is the best way to start, since you will learn a lot about the Creality software and how to make the advanced tweaks. I mainly use PETG filament, and have found it to work perfectly after some practice parts. I particularly like the updated control box, the print bed size, and the print height. Way better than others I have seen for 3x the price. Part orientation on the print bed is critical. Just practice and you'll have a lot of fun. Even though I bought it for work, it is still a lot of fun to use. I STRONGLY recommend this printer to any novice 3D printer. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

    A complete waste of time, effort, and money!
    Directions are very hard to follow....took me about 5 hours to set up. I got VERY lucky the 1st time I used it as the plate happened to be level. Since then it hasn't been and I cannot get it level. The power supply works intermittently. Sometimes it comes on, most of the time not. and now it emits a squealing sound. Unless you have the time and the knowledge to learn a CAD program then resign yourself to making little animals cause that's all that came with it. I am incredibly disappointed in the everything about the machine, the construction and the amount of time I've devoted to it only to have a green cat as an end product!!! Before you buy (waste your $$) you shoud ask yourself what you really need a 3D printer for and what are you going to do with it. They DO NOT print like a normal printer does and require special software and lots and lots of learning something new. I am through with mine and everything I purchased under the illusion I could created something from a 3D image that I'm incapable of constructing.

    The Ender 5 is a great printer!
    I highly recommend the Ender 5 3d printer. With the well-written manual and online tutorials, this was simple to put together. My first 3 prints came from the SD card (cat, pig, dog), and they were impressive. The next prints came from a combination of thingiverse and a lithophane creator. The lithophane and frame/lid printed wonderfully. I am so impressed with the accuracy of this printer and the quality of its prints. This was my first 3d printer, and it is very user friendly.

    Great Home 3d printer
    Great printer for the price! Printed PLA right out of the box, printing ABS took some trial and error but it is working great also now. Bed heating at higher temps is slow, Bed adhesion is tricky with ABS, but the glass bed makes it workable.
