Quality and Economy
Criscoe shortening bars are a wonderful, quick way to use shortening. If you buy at Walmart, you get great economy, too! I highly recommend this product.

Won't use anything else!
I won't use anything else for my cookie and pie crusts. I love this packaging as it's easy to cut the exact amount instead of using a spoon to dig through a big container of crisco.

    great for pie crust
    these are great to use to make pie crust. i freeze them before using. makes better crust. nice and flaky. just like mom used to make. easier to use, less mess and easy to freeze. now walmarts out of them for a good price and their trying to chsrhe $19.99 for 3. GTFOH!! I'll find them elsewhere.

    Use only for pie pastry
    Use only for baking pie crust. I do not make all butter crusts theyre not flaky enough. Still wondering about the health effects though. I have never quite sorted that out.

    Great as always.
    Its crisco and its great. I enjoy this in the stick instead of the tub form as this is much easier for cooking and for measuring for baking.
