Smells awful but works great
I wanted to try this out so I put it on the counter while I showered and I was amazed the whole bottom of the container was filled with water Then I stuck it in my boyfriend's bathroom when he showered with the same results It works great

    Perfectly quiet way to dehumidify.
    Works perfect. Keeps mold from forming in crawlspace closet and freshens up laundry room without making a sound or needing an outlet. Great for detached garages.

    Fresh scent stinks!
    It has been sitting out for 5 days and has already pulled moisture out of the air; however do not get fresh scent, it is not a pleasant smell. When you pass by it leaves a lingering scent and it is not good.

    Its giving what it said it would !!!
    Had a problem with excess moisture in my bathroom. It always smelled damp no matter what I did. I came across DAMP RID and I'm so happy I did. It pulls moisture out of the air and you can actually see it inside of the removable tub. My bathroom has been 10xs better since using. Its no longer hot/ sticky and smelly . The fresh scent tab isn't the greatest scent but its better than a wet

    Does the Job but not Motorized
    The design of this Damp Rid product leads you to assume that is some sort of fan. Even the pictures on the product box seem to show movement associated with the workings of a fan but don't be fooled. This is no fan. It functions just like the regular Damp Rid cup containers, no power needed. The main difference, other than design, is a large tablet draws in moisture instead of the flakes from the original. It works but it just isn't what it's made to look like it is.

    It is a keeper
    I like almost about this product. Does pull water out of the air. Nice smell not overpowering. I thought it had a motor somewhere it looks motorized but it is not. Not that you need it. The only thing I would change is how it's made it's not made for small hands and I am nervous it will come apart before I can get to a sink for dumping. I wished it had a handle. But overall buy with confidence.

    Product does what it says it will do It collects moisture from room and leaves a pleasant scent. The container is not ugly at all. I would recommend this to anyone.

    I was skeptical at first....
    But it really does work! The bathroom gets very steamy and it's worked out well in there. I struggled with where to place it and finally settled on keeping it on the ground. Assembly was very easy! Enjoyed the fresh scent tab. And I'll be picking another one up for the closet.

    Super easy setup!!
    I expected a unit requiring batteries and assembly instructions. What I got was a super simple setup with only 3 pieces! (a top, bottom and a replaceable moisture absorbing disc). After a quick assembly, I placed the unit in our porch area, on a concrete floor, where rain tends to leak in from the outside. Withing hours, there was already some water collected in the unit's reservoir. Definitely will be purchasing more replacement discs, and maybe additional units for different areas in the house. Pleasantly surprised with ease of use and quick results.
