Yum!
Only cake mix I could find with no artificial additives. I used melted butter and water but added some heavy cream and chobani vanilla greek yogurt. Also added milk chocolate chips. Had to bake extra long due to the added moisture but the cupcakes turned out amazing!

Mix ingredients changed in a major way
Used this for MANY years as the basis for a German chocolate cake. Something major has changed in the mix ingredients…quality of chocolate and flour and ability to rise. Was a family tradition…no longer. Sad…

    Terrible product. Will never buy again!
    Barely rises. Terrible. Had to throw away, go back to grocery store and buy Pillsbury cake mix. It rose as it should.

    Nothing fudgy about it.
    Dry! Going to throw what's left out today. Ooh, "Dark Chocolate Fudge". Nothing special. Just like regular dry chocolate (barely) cake. Duncan Hines used to be my gold standard for cake mixes. I'm going to move on to Betty Crocker or Pillsbury.

    I bought this for a recipe and this mix was very very dry. I wouldn't buy it again. I followed the directions exactly and it was so bad I could barely eat it.

    Made a light-textured cake, which I liked. If I use this again though, I think I'll try adding a quarter- to a half-pack of Splenda to the batter.

    Very unhappy and dissatisfied customer.
    This was my first experience using the WalMart delivery option and will be my last. Items arrived in an in tack box, no damage. However, the cake mix box was totally destroyed. Attempted to attach photo but was unable. This cake mix was purchased to prepare a child's birthday cake for a small family gathering tonight. It was not the only item damaged, I will identify damaged items on the list, most of them purchased for the planned dinner. I had to stop what I was doing and drive to Publix, purchase the items I had purchased and paid for from Walmart which not only cost me time but money. As the shipping box was not damaged in any manner, I have to assume the damage was done as the items were packed. The heavy bottle of vegetable oil arrived in tack without damage as it was cushioned by the chips.
