Extremely powerful vacuum.
This is a very powerful vacuum, it almost seems to be self-propelled when the power nozzle engages and moves forward. I'm very pleased with all of the attachments included. The 5 year warranty is also an excellent plus. Five stars without a doubt.

Ruined My Carpet in 4 Rooms on 1st use
I have had the original Dyson vacuum cleaner since the early 2000's and it was wonderful and lasted for 20 years! I replaced it this week with the new Dyson Ball Animal vacuum and on the 1st use the suction was so strong that it pulled up patches of our carpet in 4 rooms, so now my carpet is no longer flat in our living room and bedrooms. I read other reviews who said the same thing happened to them, but I thought they might not have carpet installed properly or it was really old. My carpet is not old and was professionally installed, so now I know, I should have listened to the reviews. And Dyson should be responsible for replacing my carpet that is now ruined.

    Good vacuum, very low quality
    I use my vacuum once a week, so in 3,5 years I used about 200 times. Good cleaning and suction, but you have to be gentle with it. I guess for faster assembling 90% held on clips. I noticed, if you push it and sort stop it makes squeecking nose, so accelerate and stop gradually. Easily getting scratched. Great feature if it sucks up something big ( a sock) it disables a brush spinning. In general I used my vacuum with care. Just about on 3 years, I replaced brushes, short part of the brush axle went bad. 6 month later, now, I noticed one of the brushes isn't spinning. I opened a brush head. Ball bearing ceased on longer brush, may be because it's not a still, caused PLASTIC axel to brake. C'mon Dyson you charging so much money for your product with a level of quality as disposable.

    Great yet heavy
    I found it to be the perfect size; I have 2 large dogs that shed tremendously. Gorgeous, sleek, and incredibly powerful. Not 5 stars just because it's heavy to carry around and the struggle with the attachment and pulling.

    Excellent vacuum with lots of attachments
    The vacuum is my second Dyson. The suction is excellent. Easy assembly. Cleans the carpet and the hardwood floors like a dream. Watch out for throw rugs, the suction overpowers them. The attachment make cleaning the whole house a breeze.

    Not bad but could be WAY, WAYYYY better
    I bought this vacuum Jan of 2021 so I've been using it regularly for over a year and it has it's good points and very bad points (Mostly bad). The good is that the suction is still what I expect from Dyson as you can see in the pictures. We have a Siberian Huskie and a long haired cat that shed like crazy and it picks the hair up no problem. I had the purple animal Dyson before and it was perfect this one nope. The first complaint is the smell OMG. Used it once or twice after we got it and then it started smelling like vomit or some god awful smell. And no nothing like that was sucked up with it, it just came outta no where and still does it to this day IT STINKS! We use it, clean it and bam IT'S BACKKK. Another major downfall is the fact the thing just does not like standing up. You push it up till you "hear" a click and let go and BAM on the floor it falls yeah NOT GOOD. Also trying to push it around while it's up right like putting it away or getting it out to use and it constantly unlocks it's self and you have to stop and push it back up till you "hear" the click and hope it stays. My purple one NEVER had this issue cause it had a peddle to push to unlock it. So why exactly did you go even cheaper and get rid of that feature? All about making money at the sacrafice of quality of course. It also feels like it so cheaply made it's going to break. Again NOTHING like my old one. Another down side is the hose is so STIFF as I've seen others say. You try to use it and BAM over falls the vacuum cleaner. Over and over and over again. It also should have had a bigger bin as well. Have to empty this thing more then you would a babies diaper. So between the STINK and the not being able to keep it locked and the extremely stiff hose as well as the small bin I have to give it 2 stars. And it's only getting 2 because of the suction other wise it would be 1! Oh I also forgot to mention the cord on this thing gets HOT. I reach down to move it out of the way and it is very warm. Just something else to be mindful of.

    Burning hair and plasitc
    After about a few uses I noticed a burning smell. I figured it was hair so I cleaned it out and went on my way. Realizing it didn't get fixed, I brought it into a Dyson service shop and they told me there was hair built up where the 2 brushes join and he had to take it apart to clean it. I asked if this was something that needed to be done regularly and I was told it wasn't. The stench never completely left despite pulling the hair out frequently and now the brush bar refuses to turn. Turns out there was so much hair still in the bar that it melted the plastic.

    Super happy REPEAT customer!
    This is my 2nd Dyson ball. My first one lasted 18 years! I purchased an Animal 2, and LOVE it! I'd vaccummed w/ my old vaccum and then right after w/ my new Animal, and wow!! Tons of crud came up! Sooo happy, u can take these apart and clean them, the suction/power is amazing and it literally pulls ahead of you, as if it has power drive! I'd DEF recommend this to anyone AND it's totally worth the price!

    Crazy suction!
    Out of the box, the suction was so great that I couldn't even vacuum on my plush carpet. I came on here and saw reviews that said the same and while some seemed to be beneficial, they could break the warranty of the vacuum. Using zip ties around the bottom is a non-permanent way to break the seal enough to vacuum over my carpet. we used 4 zip ties around the edges after removing the bottom plate then placed it back on. Worked like a charm!

    Dyson Ball animal 2 amazing vacuum
    I bought this vacuum a few months ago and it's very powerful it's the best vacuum I had have my favorite color is the tangle free turbine tool you don't have to clean the brush roll really but a really important feature is that it's a sealed system with HEPA filter ration which is good because now it's going to be spring spring right now but it keeps dust in the vacuum and not let the dust leak out into the world and trying to breathe then which is really good !
