Works well and like the assortment of tools.
I see many complaining that they are unable to use this vacuum on carpet, they obviously are not pressing the button to switch to carpets (see photo), if this is done there is no problem with the vacuum being easily pushed over a carpet.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! Won't last long.
Nothing really great about this vacuum since the day 1. The old Hoover was much better and lasted 4x longer than this. Moreover, the price was only 1/2 compared with Dyson DC65.

    Super happy REPEAT customer!
    This is my 2nd Dyson ball. My first one lasted 18 years! I purchased an Animal 2, and LOVE it! I'd vaccummed w/ my old vaccum and then right after w/ my new Animal, and wow!! Tons of crud came up! Sooo happy, u can take these apart and clean them, the suction/power is amazing and it literally pulls ahead of you, as if it has power drive! I'd DEF recommend this to anyone AND it's totally worth the price!

    Crazy suction!
    Out of the box, the suction was so great that I couldn't even vacuum on my plush carpet. I came on here and saw reviews that said the same and while some seemed to be beneficial, they could break the warranty of the vacuum. Using zip ties around the bottom is a non-permanent way to break the seal enough to vacuum over my carpet. we used 4 zip ties around the edges after removing the bottom plate then placed it back on. Worked like a charm!

    Dyson Ball animal 2 amazing vacuum
    I bought this vacuum a few months ago and it's very powerful it's the best vacuum I had have my favorite color is the tangle free turbine tool you don't have to clean the brush roll really but a really important feature is that it's a sealed system with HEPA filter ration which is good because now it's going to be spring spring right now but it keeps dust in the vacuum and not let the dust leak out into the world and trying to breathe then which is really good !

    Clean floors
    We bought this machine 12 days ago. It does a really great job of vacuuming, We have three daughters with shoulder-length hair. With our other vacuum, we were constantly giving the old vacuum "haircuts" It looks like this vacuum is going to have the same issues. :-( As you can see from the picture hair is building up on the brush.

    Unbelievable! Great product!
    I previously owned a Dyson and thought it was fabulous! This new Dyson is even BETTER! It is more powerful with even more suction which is exactly what I need as the owner of two Golden Retrievers! I vacuumed my carpets with my Old Dyson the day prior to the arrival of my new vac and was shocked to see how much my new vac brought up! You will not be disappointed!

    Perfect for Toddlers & Animals!
    As a mom, I got way to excited when I got this in! I honestly don't know if my boyfriend or myself was more excited! With having a toddler and three cats, a good, no GREAT vacuum is what I needed. I have always been a fan of Dyson, however this vacuum blew my mind! This vacuum has so many amazing and helpful features, you will never go to a different vacuum after trying this one! Many of my relatives have always said "Get a Dyson, You won't be sorry!" I just couldn't imagine paying that much for one. After getting mine in, I understand why you pay that bigger price. You pay for what you get. I don't mind paying a little more for a vacuum that works amazing and will last me a long time. With having three cats, you can imagine how much cat hair I have everywhere. I was super impressed to see that this vacuum really has helped keep all the hair off my floors. I was shocked to see how well this picked up all of the cat hair we have. With specially designed for pets, this vacuum really removes stubborn pet hair on carpet and hard floors while tackling dirt and debris in every corner and crevice. Exactly what I needed as a pet owner and mother of a toddler. This vacuum is really made to last. I was shocked to see how durable and well made this is. It is very heavy duty, without actually being heavy! The quality of this is phenomenal. I love that this vacuum is perfect for hard floors as well as carpet. I highly recommend this vacuum to ANYONE looking for a new one. I could honestly not of been more amazed with how perfect this vacuum is. I have always been disgusted when emptying out those filthy bags. I LOVE how the Dyson Ball Animal has such an easy way to empty that dirt! With only a push of a button, you can easily release all the dirt without touching! This may actually be my favorite feature!

    I have 2 cats and a dog. You may have seen them here on the site. Dexter is a Maine Coon. LONG fluffy fur. Constantly grooming himself. Narcissist. I also have mostly hardwood floors with some carpets thrown in here and there so I need a good vacuum that will accommodate long haired cats, kids, hard floors and carpet. Let's take my living room. It's where my long haired mess of a cat likes to be - specifically my rug. I love my rug. I need it there. Not only does it help bring the room together, but it's soft and fluffy and feels good on my feet. What doesn't feel or look good is the cat hair that hangs out on it. My cats LOVE to roll all over it and happily sleep there. I looked at the rug last night and thought "I doesn't look like it really needs vacuuming but what the heck? So I ran the Dyson Ball Animal 2 over it and noticed something right away. The Dyson grabbed onto that rug tightly. It pulled the fibers up and strongly sucked the teeny tiny hairs that I couldn't see right out. It was surprising, I felt the power of the motor as it got down to work. Now let's talk about attachments. So many awesome attachments... but not too many that you are overwhelmed. The crevice tool has a sliding brush to go from corners to dusting blinds and picture frames. The tangle-free turbine tool removes pet hair from carpets and upholstery without tangling and is better than my last vacuum as a whole. The wand connects, releases, and expands with ease. For someone with high ceilings this is a welcome feature. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 ALSO goes from hardwood to carpets without losing suction or making any changes. you just keep on vacuuming. I can even vacuum my kitchen. And my vaulted ceilings, something my old vacuum cleaner could never ever reach.

    Awesome vaccum with amazing suction!!
    This is the best vaccum I have ever used honestly. I love it!! We have 3 cats and this has an amazing suction and truly cleans up floors well. I would recommend this product to any / everyone I know. You will definitely not be disappointed in your purchase.
